  I’ve only been in the store a few times, but they definitely have a great selection, and for the most part, everything is pretty organized. Yesterday, Sunday, September 20th, was my first time actually purchasing something from the store. I went in specifically looking for a nightstand, and I successfully walked out with one, along with a few other things that I didn’t originally plan on purchasing. When I first walked in, no one greeted me, which I can understand because it’s a large store and there may not have been many employees working. However, throughout the time I was walking around the store, I passed multiple employees and no one offered any assistance or even asked if I needed help. When it was time to check out, I noticed there were two girls working at the register. I didn’t get their names, but it appeared that one employee was training a new employee on the register. No one came over or let us know that the register was open, so we eventually just figured it out ourselves and walked over. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was the biggest issue for me. I wasn’t greeted, asked if I found everything I was looking for, or really acknowledged at all. The employee at the register spent the entire transaction interacting with the person she was training. I completely understand that employees need to train new team members, but I don’t think training should come at the expense of acknowledging the actual customer. I wasn’t told my total, thanked for shopping, or told to have a great day. Since there was essentially no interaction with me throughout the entire checkout process, I didn’t say anything either because, quite honestly, I found the interaction very unprofessional. I understand that training new employees is important, but customer service should still be part of that training. If the new employee isn’t being shown how to greet, communicate with, and acknowledge customers, how are they supposed to learn what good customer service looks like? Overall, I really like the selection and organization of the store, and I did end up purchasing more than I originally planned. However, the customer service experience at checkout definitely left a lot to be desired. I hope this is something the store can improve on because the experience could have been much better with just a simple greeting, a little communication, and a “thank you, have a great day.”

  Very nice products and most items were reasonably priced. Also staff was friendly.
