  Al R (sales consultant) was amazing! Very quick, very personable, very easy and very informative. Al made the purchase easy and explained things thoroughly. I’ll leave another review when I receive my couch but the purchase was great because of Al!

  We went on 4th of July weekend and had an open and honest conversation with Rob about our needs and our budget. He was able to lock us in at a low price and get us exactly what we were looking for. It is currently on lay away until we move. The quality beats completators online and at discount stores. Glad we stopped in.

  Haven't shopped for furniture in awhile. Gardner White Rochester hills store was a delight. John and Allen were perfect gentlemen, not pushy, very very knowledgeable and gave us everything we needed to make a decision on our dining set. This store has quality furniture priced from high to very affordable. Go have a look, then go to dinner. Enjoy

  Excellent customer service! I had a real nice visit today picking up a new couch and I'm very satisfied. Everyone from the showroom floor to the guys loading up the couch were very helpful and courteous. Would absolutely buy from Gardner-White Rochester again!

  This has been a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this product or this store due to the issues and lack of customer service. I am seeking solutions via my card provider and issuing a formal complaint with the AG office. Purchased a recliner (Model 264PPPLC) and 4-year warranty in May 2026. First delivery arrived with a visible rip and large scuff — the base was not packaged for shipping. I was offered the chance to make a warranty claim and had to push much too hard to get it replaced as it was an issue at delivery, not a warranty problem. If I wanted to return the damaged chair, I was told it would be a 25% restocking fee. The replacement has a structural defect causing a 4-inch gap when reclining, making it completely unusable.It is also so misaligned that one can not sit in it while fully upright as it pushes so deeply into the seat bottom. I contacted Gardner White's customer service text line on June 1, 3, 5, and 7 with photos. I also called on June 5 and emailed on June 8. I have received zero substantive response in 12 days.
