  Went to the Novi store to just look for mattress and usually we just look and leave but Joey was great! Answered all of our questions and ended up buying a mattress Saturday afternoon and it was delivered Sunday! Also fell in love with a sectional but need to wait for it to drop in price a little, hopefully it will :)

  Bought floor rug for kids room. Got home and opened. Particles started falling from the bottom of the rug. Don’t want kids playing on bad material. Explained all of this. Sent pictures and videos to customer service and the manager at the novi location. Manager said he can return it but says he won’t. Due to product saying that it’s normal for it to fall apart and leave particles and refuse to help, exchange or refund the rug. Lost a customer/customers. Could have easily helped the customer. Will not return.

  Our experiences here have been mixed. This store has some helpful staff, but we also faced pushiness and issues with pricing irregularity and order details. When we came in for the first time, we were followed by a salesperson who asked us questions so frequently for the first few minutes that my fiance and I had very little time to speak amongst ourselves. Later, we worked with E'Shon, and we found him to be very personable and informative when choosing a mattress and submitting down payment. We came in on a 2nd visit to pick a bed frame, and we didn't know we needed to mention a prior sales rep team. We did tell Suh we previously ordered a mattress here. He was VERY helpful while we browsed bed frames without being pushy or overbearing. When we made a decision to purchase a frame, Suh pulled up our account, then told us that we had to finish up financing for both the mattress and the frame with E'Shon and Brisa. Only their 2 names showed on our final receipts. I found this concerning, considering that Suh spent over an hour of time helping us. I feel like he deserved credit for our frame sale and I didn't understand why there couldn't be two seperate orders made. We then brought up that we saw the ad for the free TV/store credit/mastercard that came with our mattress and asked why we didn't get that. We got it added to our order, but they clearly won't add it unless you verbally ask. We go home and find two problems. First, the bed frame we JUST ordered is being sold online for $699 and we were just charged $899. The offer did not say online only. We called customer service and they adjusted our total, but they did not explain why we were charged more. Second, we open up our bags and find that the store has put queen pillows on our order with a king sheet set with king pillowcases. The pillowcases were way too large and looked awkward on our bed. You would think that sales reps would know to offer king sized pillows to match the sheet set they were selling us. The customer service line helped rectify this, but it was still frustrating. Our delivery guys were AWESOME - very polite and efficient workers. We love our mattress and our bed frame. However, I wouldn't come back to this location due to the number of issues that arose, and I hesitate to shop with Gardner White again in the future.

  I walked into GW a couple of weeks ago just to browse, yet looking for something specific. Kastine hopped in and showed me something I wasn't looking for and it was perfect, however, I wasn't sure it would fit my space. After 2 weeks of mulling it over, I reached out to Kastine, and not only did she remember me, but she was ready to help me out. Walked back into the store, and left with an armoire and chest for a great price. Her customer service is top notch! Thanks Kastine!!

  Absolutely insane level of pressuring and pestering. We were in the store 15 minutes today and had the same salesman following us around, made 6 different pitches to us, and then tried to argue with us when we said we absolutely weren't buying anything today and we were just looking. After the tried to override our own explanations of our circumstances and got defensive when we told him he wouldn't be getting a sale out of us, we immediately just left the store. You aren't allowed to just look around here it seems. We'll be taking our business elsewhere; there's at least four other furniture stores in this immediate area, we don't need to give Gardner White our business if their salespeople are trained to argue our own circumstances with us and ignore clear boundaries.
