  Cannot speak to the reliability of the repairs but can attest to the fact the scheduling reliability is not present. Booked appointment through consumers for 8am- Noon Tuesday. Was called on Monday and was told they would let us know on Tuesday if they would be there before noon, or after noon (a 4 hour window estimate). We stated we specifically selected this day and time as we had to request the time off work to be at home for the repair. They said that's not how they do things and cannot guarantee when they will be there until the morning of service. We said we work about 15 minutes away from the house so will need a heads. We were told they could give us about a 20 minute heads up (presumably leaving the appointment prior to ours). Tuesday morning rolls around and we get a call around 8:30 saying approximately between 11 and 1. Well half of that time is outside of the window we signed up for. Since we were supposed to get a 20 minute heads up we went to work. Next, we get a call saying "we are here - what one is yours" I said well, we can be there in 15, but we didnt get a heads up call. We were told "we aren't waiting around for you." I guess we will have to go back to consumers and get a different company and share this experience with them so they dont try to book others with this company at an agreed upon time.

  I would highly recommend Ed's Reliable Repair Service. He was very quick to respond to our call for a washer repair. Very pleased with his prompt, courteous, & professional service.

  Ed came over and diagnosed our dryer problem. Went home to order the motor. Came back asap to install it. Very efficient, reliable and knowledgeable. Price was fair also. We are so lucky to have him up here in the boon docks.
