  Tia, and the other associates that assisted us were amazing given the complicated issues we had. They were all very patient and did every thing they could to help us get our order that didn't get placed when we thought it was, taken care of. I know we were a hassle however they took care of us an we are grateful. Thank you again!

  Bought 2 garage openers from them. They offered installation so i agreed. They sell the installation to Angi. The guy installed and the doors don’t open all the way. I had to hire a garage door company to come and re-do the installation. Of the $380 of install cost the actual installer got around $160. Don’t waste your money on Lowe’s install.

  Make sure you have your receipt if you need to return something. I am in their points award program both as a professional and private. They can draw up everything I've purchased. They have records of all my purchases. I always pay with my debit card. However they said, when putting my debit card in their system, they say, they see that I purchased the item, since they couldn't bring up my form of payment, I could not return the item. That was so strange. It would never hold up in court. Their records showed that I purchased the item and when I purchased the item, yet since they said my method of payment could not be determined I could not return the item. Home Depot does not do that. Menard's does not do that. They both accept returns uneventful. Menard's actually has a self serve machine that you can look up and print a replacement receipt.

  ⭐ Extremely Disappointing Customer Service — Corporate Attention Needed I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars at Lowe’s over the years. so I’m not someone who normally leaves a negative review over a single interaction. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing enough that I feel it needs to be addressed. I was attempting to return a brand-new, unopened shower door that I had purchased from this Lowe’s location. The representative contacted a manager, who approached without even greeting me and immediately stated that if I didn’t have the receipt, he would not accept the return. When I attempted to ask a question and explain the situation, he simply walked away without responding or making any effort to look into the purchase himself. The product was purchased through Lowe’s and scanned into their system, so I found it extremely frustrating that there was seemingly no willingness to assist a customer who has spent substantial money with the company. PRO customers and contractors should take note. UPDATE — 9/12/2026 Unfortunately, my experience became even more disappointing. I waited over 30 minutes at the PRO Desk for a manager to arrive. After walking around the store trying to find someone who could help, I encountered an extremely helpful and professional team leader who took the time to guide me to Amanda, a store manager. I want to be clear that the team leader who assisted me was courteous and helpful, and I appreciate him making an effort to help when others did not. Unfortunately, my interaction with management was very different. When Amanda saw us approaching, her initial demeanor came across as extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Once I explained my question, I felt as though I was inconveniencing her simply by asking for assistance. What concerns me most isn't simply one difficult interaction. It is the overall pattern of customer service—waiting more than 30 minutes at the PRO Desk, difficulty finding someone willing to assist, and then experiencing a lack of basic courtesy, attention, and disrespectful demeanor from anyone in “management.” For a customer who regularly purchases thousands in materials , customer service matters just as much as price. I have supported Lowe’s with a significant amount of business, and unfortunately this experience has made me reconsider where I spend that money going forward. I cannot confidently recommend this location to the contractors and professionals I work with when the lack of basic service can be this disrespectful and difficult. I hope Lowe’s corporate leadership takes the time to review what is happening at this location. Customers should not have to spend 30+ minutes looking for a manager or feel as though asking for assistance is an inconvenience. I would much rather see this location improve than simply take my business elsewhere. But if the customer experience does not change, The Home Depot and other hardware suppliers will continue receiving the business that Lowe’s is losing. Lowe’s: please do better. Your customers—and especially your PRO customers—deserve basic respect, communication, and assistance.

  Some of the best Customer Service in Muskegon! We talked to and were helped by multiple different Team Members (and a couple Managers too), but the four names I remember specifically are Reuben, Keria, Mason, and Roger. They all were very helpful, very professional, and very kind. I have worked in Customer Service at different jobs before, and I have reasonably high expectations for how I think customers should be served. And the Lowes team in Muskegon not only met but also exceeded those expectations. We were looking to replace our old washing machine with a new (but low price point) washing machine. I ended up choosing one specific machine that was delivered on a Monday. The delivery team was very good! Very professional and very careful with bringing in the machine and hooking it all up. That same day I recognized some concerns with how the machine was sounding as I ran it through a test run. I talked with a manager over the phone and they set up an exchange for the same machine for Wednesday. Very speedy in getting it taken care of. Second machine (the exact same type) was delivered and ended up sounding the same, and I just didn't feel comfortable with how it was functioning. I called the store again and spoke with another manager (didn't catch her name)... she was super helpful and very understanding. She suggested possibly upgrading to a different machine altogether. I told her I needed a little bit to think about it. I called back and she wasn't available but I spoke with Keria, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so sweet and so helpful. She got everything figured out with the exchange and upgrade to a different machine, she handled the refund of the protection plan we ordered and set up the payment for the new protection plan plus the small amount we needed to pay for the upgraded machine. And the refund was just as speedy as the payment I made! She even called me back to verify that the refund was being processed immediately. She was very patient with me and all of my questions. Reuben who originally helped us in store, ended up being RIGHT about the machine he recommended. It's the machine we upgraded to in the end. He was also so patient with me as I was trying to figure out what I wanted. Very helpful in answering all of my questions. Roger helped us only briefly, but he was also so kind and ready and willing to help us out when he saw that we were waiting. And Mason stepped in to finish our sale and did an exceptional job with us as well. All of the Lowes Team that helped us out in any way should feel very good about how they do their job! It made a huge difference to us throughout this whole process. And the delivery men Lowes hires, at least the three different pairs we had the pleasure of meeting, they do an excellent job as well! Keep it up Lowes of Muskegon! You're doing great!
