Unit was supposed to be a 30’x10’ with two doors. Turned out to be two 10x15 units side by side (wall in between) , not a huge deal but was misrepresented. The unisex restroom was not clean, the toilet seat was up and very filthy on its underside. First impression overall not great! Price was only thing going for it as of now. Have to deal with it, hopefully don’t have to be there very long anyway. Employee was very nice and explained what she could about the situation. One other drawback is that there is no inside loading/unloading. Need good weather to move stuff in or out. Guess that makes up some for the cheaper monthly rate. It is a new facility and that’s nice!

Showed up at noon. Temp outside is 71. Temperature inside according to thier thermometer 80 degrees. Woman tried to tell me 80 degrees is their normal temp. It wasnt set to 80 degrees at thier other storage unit at 23mile and van dyke location. My phone temp was reader showed 85 degrees and its pretty accurate. Attendent at front desk told me its normal for it to be 80 degrees. Ive been to 7 indoor storage units. I have never seen a indoor unit this hot. The attendent told me if i want a cooler unit, to get one on the 2nd floor because heat rises. So i says to her but all the floors according to you are set to 80 degrees. Hows it cooler? I think her brain broke for 2 minutes. I says to her mam, im paying you guys for a temperature controlled indoor unit. The temp is warmer then the outside. And convienently i can tell this specific office space seems to be set for 70 something degrees and the rest of the 1st floor is hotter then this office room. She then tried to tell me because the doors are constantly opening and closing. Temperature outside when i arrived was 71 degrees. Let that sink in..
