Buyer Beware
I had Maverick Pools install an inground sport pool in July 2024. As most people know, purchasing a pool is a major investment, and I trusted them to provide quality installation and ongoing service.
They closed my pool in fall 2024, opened it in spring 2025, closed it again in fall 2025, and reopened it in spring 2026.
Immediately after the 2026 opening, I filled the pool and noticed that within a day it had lost several inches of water. I filled it again, and the same thing happened. I contacted the company right away and was told that the water loss was "normal" and could be due to evaporation from the air temperature and the pool temperature.
After another week or so of continued water loss, I contacted them again and requested that someone come inspect the pool. The owner responded that they were busy with new pool installations and would let me know when the technicians had time to come out. This continued for more than two months.
During that time, I explained that I didn't know whether I should continue filling the pool, adding chemicals, and running the filtration system without knowing the cause of the leak. I am not a pool expert, which is why I was asking for their assistance. Instead of receiving help, I received a response that I found to be dismissive and unprofessional.
Concerned that the issue was getting worse, I contacted another pool company. They came out the very next day and determined that, in their assessment, the pool had not been winterized properly. They explained that air had likely been left in one of the lines, which froze over the winter and caused the plumbing line to crack.
As a result, my family has not been able to swim in our pool at all this summer. After investing so much money into creating a place where our family could make memories together, it has been heartbreaking to watch the season pass by without being able to enjoy it.
My experience left me feeling that once the installation was complete, customer service was no longer a priority. While every company can have occasional issues, how those issues are handled matters. In my case, I felt my concerns were repeatedly delayed while new installations took priority.
It genuinely makes me sad that I chose this company to install my family's pool. I expected that if a problem arose, they would stand behind their work and provide timely support. Instead, I was left waiting for months while the problem continued.
I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision when choosing a pool company.

I will give them 0 stars if I could. The 6 weeks project turn into 9 months. This is the list of the thinks that when wrong with them
Broke drain field. No apologies just jimmy get mad with me.
Pool higher than my house level. They just don’t want lo listen to me. I have to buy more sand and dirt to fill. Also the pool is not square.
Very poor communication. They don’t want to answer the phone.
Over charge for the concrete deck. They don’t realize that I have to fix my drain field because of them.
They don’t make the payments on time for the materials so we have a letter lien when we pay even before they finish it
Autocover not working because they don’t install it right.( other company have to come to fix it.
I can go on and on. Nothing wrong to make the decision to have a pool but choose the right company is.
