I'm typically happy with my local Lowe's store. Today (on a vacation day), I drove to the Lowe's on Plainfield in Michigan to pickup a few packing totes to do some garage reorganizing. When I got to the isle, much to my surprise, it was closed due to a rack being reconfigured (no where near the totes). I asked if the Lowe's employee standing there could grab them for me, a short 5yrds from where we were standing she said I couldn't and she couldn't. I explained I drove to the store to purchase the totes, and I was ready to check out, that didn't matter. I asked to talk to a manager, she said okay and asked one of the guys doing the work if she could get the totes, he said no, I explained my situation once again and then he said WAIT. On my way out of the store empty handed I asked to file a complaint at the customer service desk, their response: Would you like to order it online?
Come on Lowe's you can do BETTER!!! I guess I'll have to do my reorganizing on my next day off.

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but the service I got today warrants it. I asked for 2 cement bags to be loaded in my trunk. A very young gentleman came out and struggled to lift the bag. Once he got the first bag off the ground he just pitched it in my trunk and the dust went everywhere. I suggested he might want to find someone to help with the second bag, he ignored me, and handled that bag the same as the first. Without ever saying one word he went back in the store.
