Love Aptive Pest Control. Every technician is friendly and knowledgeable. They treat my property with care and respect. The technicians always ask if I have any problems before they service my property and let me know of any bugs or critters they have found and treated. Pictures are always sent along with a summary of what they did. I am a happy customer and I recommend Aptive to everyone!

We have been looking into pest control options for a while now, and Aptive has been the perfect fit for our family. Right from the start, the team gave us a fantastic, thorough walkthrough. They took the time to listen to our specific concerns and gave us clear, honest recommendations on the best way to handle them.Their pricing is great, and we love the peace of mind that comes with their regular schedule—plus the fact that they offer unlimited service calls if we ever spot a pest between visits. We have been dealing with ants, spiders, ticks, and voles, while our garden has been suffering from aphids, slugs, and beetles. It is a huge relief that Aptive is taking care of all of it, both inside the house and out in the yard!Treatment day was wonderful. The technician was incredibly professional, friendly, and did a highly thorough job. We are so excited to continue using their service and love knowing that our home, garden, and yard are safe for our family.

I had a horrible experience with Aptive. After signing up, I was billed the normal monthly fee, however the technician missed the next month's appointment (I received a text at 7:30pm that my appointment had to be rescheduled). After another day of silence, I called support to see what was going on... Aptive responded by trying to sell me on the same service for 1/2 the price. I declined because what's the point if they don't show up?! I asked to be relieved of the contract for free. They declined and charged me $199 to cancel. An absolute waste of time and money.

If I could give this place a zero I would first off there people are going door to door harassing people in the Hudsonville area regardless of no soliciting signs. Had I been there when my mom hired them I would have saved her tons of money there was zero decrease in bugs in or out of the home if anything I'd say we've seen more activity cobwebs and bugs all over her basement ugh and the stink bugs don't even get me started. I'm sharing a photo and that's just a tiny spot instead of molehills we got endless anthills. I recently bought her home first thing I told her to call these sleezy people and keep them off my land.

Salesman was nice enough, but he started off with a lie. He told me he had stopped by yesterday and spoke with my wife. I was skeptical, as she doesn’t answer the door for strangers (let alone men) when I’m not home. I went inside to ask her about it, she had no recollection (spoiler, she never spoke with him.) But it gets better: he asked me to have her come to the door and see if she remembers his face. She does, doesn’t recognize him and he masterfully turns it into “oh no, I thought this was xxxx, not xxyx address. I’m so sorry.” We laughed, let it go. Then he had the audacity to say later “sorry for accidentally gaslighting you.” Uh huh. So I sign up for the service. He tells me “you’ll get an email with the contract,” shows me the paper one, but doesn’t give me a physical copy. Never got the digital one. Did some digging, called less than 12 hours after starting “service” to make sure they can’t charge me. But wait, there’s more! After cancelling and telling them not to call me or contact me again, who calls? Not once, but twice? At 1 pm and 8pm?! No voicemail. Only reason I knew it was him was I saved his number. After I had blocked his number, he must have spoofed it to call again. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. They are pushy, will act friendly and say they’re handing you a deal when they really waiting for a 3 day window or the first treatment and then your stuck with paying $199 or continuing services. Predatory practices at their worst

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
