  Despite clearly stating that we did not wish to continue services and were planning to go with another company, Modern still came out for a fertilizer treatment and is now demanding $55. Be very careful — unless you explicitly say “Cancel”, they will proceed and charge you regardless. The customer service experience was disappointing — rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen. They insisted we hadn’t cancelled, without offering any courtesy, explanation, or effort to retain a long-time customer. No professionalism, no attempt to understand why we were leaving — just a phone hang-up and a demand for payment. This is a textbook example of how to lose loyal customers.

  Modern Lawn Care is the BEST I've found, and I've tried more than a few. Their chemicals are organic and consultant-sourced through Michigan State University, so you are getting high quality. They offer suggestions each time, and our lawn looks fabulous. Go with them!
