I checked in at the store pickup machine, then when the employee came he promptly served the people clearly in line behind me that did not check in. They had an issue so i had to wait.

I've been exclusively going to this Lowe's store for years mainly since I'm familiar with the layout and I can nomally find what I need. That will change after my experience today.
We recently purchased laminate flooring after talking withe the Flooring Department. The salesperson indicated that we didn't need to worry about over buying the flooring since they will except returns on whatever we don't use, even partial boxes. That is not true according to the Return Department and Store Manager.
I will now be shopping at other home improvement stores.

I ordered a dishwasher and installation from them on 3/7 and had it set up for delivery on 3/16. After the delivery window passed I called, and after 30 minutes of being on hold found out that the dishwasher was in Ohio, so they wouldn’t be able to deliver and install it. I set up a new time for delivery on 3/20. About 2 hours into the delivery window I got a call from the installer that he noticed the box was damaged, so he opened it and the dishwasher inside was severely damaged. So twice I had arranged to be at home from work for this and twice I wasn’t able to get this delivered. I was told I could call corporate and set up a claim number for compensation (though no specifics were given), and at this point have decided to just cancel my order with them rather than deal with more waiting on hold and headaches or bothering with a 3rd attempted delivery at this point.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
