  Ethan was very knowledgeable, courteous and spent time listening to what I was looking for. He knew exactly where things were. Answered all questions I had. No pressure pleasant to work with! I’m indecisive-makes the sales a little rough sometimes. Will definitely be back!! Thank you Ethan!

  Very disappointing customer service. We came to the store specifically to try a mattress that was listed online as being on display at this location. When we asked about it, the salesperson immediately told us, "We don't have anything that cheap," without even asking which mattress we had seen online or making any effort to check. It was only after we said we would speak with a manager that he finally pointed us to the exact mattress we had been asking about — which was, in fact, on display. Unfortunately, his attitude did not improve. While we were trying the mattress, he was impatient and unwilling to properly answer our questions. Instead of assisting us, he repeatedly rushed us to return the protective pillow cover we were using for the trial. The entire interaction made us feel unwelcome and judged rather than treated as customers who were genuinely interested in making a purchase. The salesperson's dismissive attitude, lack of basic courtesy, and unwillingness to help were extremely unprofessional. A customer should not be treated differently based on what a salesperson assumes their budget might be. This was an extremely unpleasant shopping experience and far below the level of customer service we expected. We left feeling disrespected and very disappointed.

  Absolutely terrible customer service at the Ann Arbor location. The salesperson was extremely impatient, dismissive, and gave us strange and judgmental looks from the beginning. We were told they “don’t have anything that cheap” and that there was nothing for us to try. However, we checked Gardner White’s own website and found the exact mattress clearly listed as “on display” at this location. Only after we found a manager and complained did the salesperson finally take us to it. Even then, the attitude remained rude and unwelcoming. While we were still trying the mattress, they were already taking back the protective head covers and clearly rushing us to leave. We felt judged, discriminated against, and treated differently based on what the salesperson assumed we would spend. It very much felt like they decide how to treat customers based on how much commission they think they can make. After seeing other reviews describing very similar treatment, this clearly does not seem like an isolated incident. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We will not be returning.

  Sales man was very knowledgeable and explained all the different types of lift chairs. We went over all the options and payment plans also delivery schedules. My wife and I were very happy with our experience at Gardner White.

  Quick, easy and confident mattress buying experience! Eric A. was the best salesperson I could ask for. He was knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping me find the mattress I was looking for at a price I could afford. He asked questions to help guide me, but wasn't pushy. When I showed him the one I found online, he knew it was on clearance and right where it was. I tried it out and liked it, but asked if there were others I should try because I didn't necessarily want to buy the first thing I tried. He was honest and said anything else comparable he had would be a lot more expensive and that it is a really popular and good mattress. I was thankful he made it easy for me to not over think things and feel confident in my decision because of his knowledge and honesty. Thanks Eric!
