  On July 31, I ordered a gas range to be delivered/installed since my current one is out of commission. The store manager was the one to assist me, she said they had one out back already on location. She set up a schedule for Saturday Aug 8 for the range to be installed at my home. I got the alert that my range was in transit to the store and was going to be late. Aug 10, after my scheduled appointment, is when I got the alert it was delivered to the store. I got an automative text message that the install is scheduled for Thursday Aug 20. I tried calling and got AI and told me that they don't install on Saturday like I wanted. So I have to wait another 10days without a working stove in my house. And I have to make arrangements for someone to be home for install when I work Thursday. The Store Manager shouldn't be promising install dates if they can't accommodate a 3rd party installers schedule. Basically you take the date the installers give you and you have no choice. Next time I will pay the extra somewhere else..

  It is virtually impossible to get past their "virtual assistant" so I can talk to a store associate to find out about a product. Their virtual assistant is useless. If they cannot enable a way to talk to a real person, I will take my business elsewhere!

  It’s Sunday July 5th and I’ve never seen so many employees on staff walking around looking busy. Unfortunately I’ve been sitting here in the blind cutting section for 20 minutes now having pushed the button twice for help and physically approached one employee for help. Ultimately I was told the machine was broken so they can’t help. Thanks for the wait, why have so many staffed if they aren’t able to assist customers?

  UPDATE: Unfortunately, this is my second bad experience at this Lowe's in a very short period of time. After my last visit, when I left behind a $559.78 purchase after being repeatedly ignored, I decided to give the store another chance. Today my wife and I came in for paint and other items. She politely told Employee S (didnt want his full name out there) we were deciding between two colors and wanted to see them in person. When she said color A "or" color B, he loudly and condescendingly responded, "OR???", then pointed at the sample wall as though her question was ridiculous. His attitude continued to the point that I eventually walked away rather than let the situation turn into an argument. I do want to recognize the female employee working beside him. She was fantastic. She clearly recognized what was happening and repeatedly tried to tactfully step in and help. I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves recognition for her professionalism and patience. Unfortunately, one employee's attitude managed to undo everything she was trying to do right. My wife finally told Employee S we were going to Home Depot. His reply - Ok - buh-bye. We left our full cart behind and walked out. Once again, we went across the street and received friendly, helpful service. There are clearly good employees at this store—the woman in paint today proved that. But management needs to understand when one employee's behavior is driving longtime customers out the door. I don't need Lowe's to make me feel important. I just don't want to feel like I'm bothering someone by shopping there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ While I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for a store staffed by people from our local community, my experience this morning left me with no choice. I arrived around 8:30 a.m. when the store was quiet, intending to purchase four outdoor light fixtures along with several solar lights. I approached two associates in the lighting department to ask where I could find a specific fixture, but it was obvious I was interrupting their conversation about weekend plans. After multiple attempts to get assistance, I gave up and searched for everything myself, hoping I was buying the correct products. When I finally made it to self-checkout, one of the light fixtures scanned $40 higher than the shelf price. I waited for the self-checkout associate, Deb, to approve the price correction. She walked away, came back, helped several other customers around me, then walked away again without ever acknowledging that I had been standing there waiting. It wasn't just me who noticed. Other customers were shaking their heads and commenting about what they were seeing. After spending nearly 45 minutes in the store without receiving even the most basic level of customer service, I left my entire cart behind and walked out. Five minutes later, I was at Home Depot. Within minutes, three associates asked if I needed help and personally walked me to the products I was looking for. I purchased everything I needed there instead. For more than 20 years, I considered myself a loyal Lowe's customer. Today, that changed. Lowe's lost a $559.78 sale, but more importantly, they lost a customer who genuinely preferred shopping there. The contrast in customer service between the two stores could not have been more striking. I hope someone in store leadership reads this, because this wasn't about one pricing mistake. It was about feeling completely ignored by employees who simply didn't seem to care. That's something worth fixing.
