  Easy access Lowe's very close to Highway 95. Staff is helpful and there's a good selection of tools and products.

  I had a fantastic experience with the pickup team at Lowe’s. Kiernan and Gabe were both incredibly quick, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. They were swift, positive, and made the entire pickup process easy from start to finish. 10/10 experience — I’ll definitely be back! Lowe’s needs more helpers like Kiernan and Gabe. Great customer service from both of them!

  One of my favorite home improvement stores I've ever shopped. All things inside and outside you can find here. Knowledgeable people and the pro department do amazing work at getting customers what they need in order to create great home and business environments all over the area. Very impressed by the branding and store culture this place is crucial to the development of our community.

  On July 24 at approximately 7:00 p.m., I visited the Lowe’s in Bangor, Maine to purchase a new DeWalt drill. I’ve been shopping at Lowe’s for years, and unfortunately I’ve watched the customer service at the Bangor location steadily decline. In contrast, the Brewer store is consistently well-run and provides a much better customer experience. I selected a DeWalt drill that was clearly marked at $99.00 and brought it to the register. When I scanned it, it rang up at $169.00. Rather than having an associate assist with verifying the price, I had to cancel my purchase and walk across the store to Customer Service. When I arrived, the customer service representative was loudly chewing gum throughout the interaction. She appeared far more focused on chewing than helping me, making it difficult to understand her and creating an unprofessional first impression. I explained the pricing issue, and she stated that someone would need to verify the display. That’s completely understandable. I wasn’t upset about waiting I simply wanted the price checked. The associate who responded told me they “never have DeWalt drills” because they are special order. I respectfully explained that I shop in this store several times a week and see that exact drill on display nearly every visit. She rolled her eyes, walked toward the display, and disappeared. I had already purchased a cart full of other items, so I waited at Customer Service. After about ten minutes, no associate had returned. From where I was standing, I could clearly see the display, but no employee was there checking anything or providing an update. At that point, I decided it wasn’t worth spending any more time there and said I would simply go to the Brewer store instead. The customer service representative responded with, “Whatever.” She then demanded to see a receipt for the items I had already purchased. I explained that I always choose the “no receipt” option at self-checkout because my purchases are stored in my MyLowe’s account. Rather than offering to verify my purchase another way, she pressed the issue again. I ultimately walked out while she muttered something under her breath. The entire interaction was disappointing. The pricing mistake itself wasn’t the issue those things happen. What was unacceptable was the lack of professionalism, poor communication, dismissive attitude, eye-rolling, and complete disregard for basic customer service. As someone who shops at Lowe’s multiple times a week, I expect to be treated with respect. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. The Bangor store has significant opportunities to improve customer service, and my experience stands in stark contrast to the consistently positive service I receive at the Brewer location.
