I so did not want to post this but I am so over horrible customer service.
After reading the other reviews and the generic responses from Lowe’s touting how they pride themselves on amazing customer service, this seems to be how they value their customers. We purchased over $1200 in fencing for delivery and received used, rusted and damaged merchandise dropped on our driveway. We contacted the customer care team as well as the CEO and other executive board members and the experience was horrible. We are cancelling our Lowe’s cards and Lowe’s Credit Cards.
HOME DEPOT here we come.

Extremely Poor Customer Service, Communication, and Follow-Through (Repeated Experience)
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with this Lowe’s location. I previously made a purchase a few years ago and experienced the same ongoing problems—delays, poor communication, and lack of follow-through. Unfortunately, that pattern has continued.
In February 2026, during Maryland’s tax-free weekend, I purchased a dishwasher, stove, and overhead microwave. To date, the stove is the only item I have actually received.
At checkout, I was given a signed contract and believed everything—including installation—had been properly processed. However, I later discovered that the dishwasher installation had never been included with the original order. I did not find this out until a month later, after following up on the status of the order.
Despite this, installation was still scheduled twice under the original order, which created the impression that things were moving forward. In April, after a disagreement with the installation team on the same day, I ended up reordering the dishwasher again.
Since then, the dishwasher order has continued to experience delays, with little clear communication or accountability.
I eventually realized the microwave was not going to be delivered, so I canceled it. At this point, I find myself questioning whether I should expect the same outcome with the dishwasher as well.
Every time I call for updates, I am told the issue is with the vendor (Electrolux). While vendor issues may be part of the process, that explanation does not account for months of miscommunication, shifting information, and lack of accountability.
What has been most frustrating is the consistent lack of ownership and communication. Customers are left to repeatedly follow up, receive conflicting information, and wait indefinitely without resolution.
Even in-store experiences reflect the same problems. Simple requests for assistance often go unanswered, staff are difficult to locate, and when help is requested in a department, no one arrives. It often feels like a self-service environment even when assistance is clearly needed.
Customers have a right to expect clear communication, accountability, and follow-through. I do not expect perfection, but I do expect basic service standards to be met. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
After multiple negative experiences over several years, I cannot confidently recommend this location for appliance purchases or service-related transactions.

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
