  This store is a bad joke. $13 for a SINGLE jar?? Just go to Target and you get six jars of the same quality for the same price. Insane.

  I would like to give Geremy a huge shoutout for helping me design 3 elfa closet systems. He was helpful, responsive, and patient. I would definitely recommend the container store for your closet needs!

  In my business, I tell my team that sales team members bring in the client, but the customer experience/service team is what keeps the client. I’ve heard something similar in other businesses as well, but we all know that it’s different when we find ourselves in need of ongoing customer service. My experience with The Container Store In Rockville has included consistent, top-notch service and product sales support. After almost 9 years and six closet (all ELFA) Systems designed and installed in our home, one of them had a failed installation. Typically (All consumers know this) this happens right after the warranty expires, but in this case it happened in year nine out of a 10 year warranty. No one was hurt and none of the damage that resulted was anything to write about beyond the wall that the system was hanging on could with some other very minor cosmetic damage. Admittedly, I’m in the real estate development space so the put back (wall repair, and painting) needed to have a certain level of finish quality so I handled it myself with my team at our expense. Prior to that, my coordination at the store level with Elisa (my initial contact), and Sophia (my point of contact at the store that did the heavy listing in the middle of the experience) were as smooth as one could hope. Both were responsive throughout and always kept it positive. On the very day we came home to the collapsed 10’ system, Elisa called the General Manager to get us squared away with multiple commercial garment racks. Even though it took a handful of follow up calls combined with store visits, Sophia never lost patience as the bridge between us, her manager and the installer. This included the ordering and delivery of any damaged closet parts and an installer-return for adjustment post-reinstallation. And at the end, Lamia did what she could to make us whole on the out of pocket cost of repairing and painting the wall. Service matters and accountability matters and I had to take the time to spotlight this memorable experience with our friends at The Container Store. Many thanks to everyone every step of the way who went above and beyond to help us remain happy, satisfied customers.
