I am a customer since around August of 2025 and I must say I appreciate the amount of drive up units available and the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility.
However, I rate them four stars because it appears to me that corporate is very much bottom line based and not as interested fostering and nurturing customer relationships. I say this because they will not hesitate to increase, and in some cases MULTIPLY, your rent whenever they want! It is truly is very unpleasant. You should also know that you will NOT receive any kind of notice of the increase other than some little tiny paper that looks like advertisement to anyone. I mean we’re in 2026 and they intentionally not send you nor a text nor email to let you know your rent is going up. You will only notice when you see it appear on your bank or credit card transactions and then you will be very very upset because they’ve already charged you… It truly is a violation in my opinion but I guess we agreed to it in the fine print right?…
At this particular location we are blessed with a very customer service driven manager named Jackie and she truly is the bomb.com. I am very thankful for her willingness to assist and negotiate on behalf of us customers and to make us feel appreciated. It’s not something that the company nor it’s corporate goals will make you feel but it’s nice to know we have someone that values our business and will go the extra mile to ensure we are satisfied. She certainly makes up for the lack of relationship nurturing that ExtraSpace as a company fails to deliver and for that reason I will/do recommend people to do business here!
Pd: In 6months/1year I will update this review to either increase the rating or decrease it.
