If you don’t like your job or working with customer service u shouldn’t be a manager. I understand there late fees an stuff but the attitude is unnecessary and she will get one back every time she gives me

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Aaron's on Eastern Boulevard in Essex, MD.
After many years of not doing business with Aaron's, I decided to give this location another chance and purchased a living room set. I was initially told the furniture had only been returned by a previous customer after a couple of weeks. However, after delivery, I learned that was not accurate and that the furniture had been in the previous customer's possession much longer than I was led to believe.
To make matters worse, I discovered a rip in the sofa. As soon as I noticed the damage, I contacted the store to have it repaired. Since then, I have made numerous calls to the manager and have received the same response every time: that they haven't heard anything yet and will call me back. Those promised calls never come. There has been absolutely no follow-up, no updates, and no sense of urgency to resolve the issue.
Customer service appears to end once the furniture is delivered. A damaged item should not require customers to repeatedly chase management for answers. The lack of communication, accountability, and concern for customer satisfaction has been incredibly frustrating.
Had I known I would be dealing with damaged furniture and months of unanswered promises, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

I rented a couch and loveseat for Thanksgiving 2025 and paid for expedited delivery. I called a few days before it was supposed to arrive, to confirm delivery and was told by David that it wouldn’t be delivered on time due to staffing issues. I was livid because I paid for expedited shipping and ended up paying someone else over $200 to deliver it—something Aaron’s should have done. When I called customer service to request compensation, my complaint was completely ignored.
The staff at the store—David, Anthony, and the front desk lady were pleasant and helpful, and they worked with me when I needed to return the furniture early due to financial hardship.
The major issue is communication. Every time I called to arrange a pickup or return, it was an issue or the front desk lady never had any record of it, causing repeated reschedules and extra charges.
While the in-store staff are great, this Aaron’s customer service for delivery, pickup and communication are horrible. I probably will never rent from this location again.

I would have gave a 5 but I have lost trust in them. Your WORD means everything. You don’t lie and tell a customer that you will and have ordered new chairs for my dining table because one was visible messed up. I wasn’t gonna go get the table because of the chair. I was told I would get you a new one. You told me what you wanted to at that time to make that sale. It’s wrong I pay my payments on time not one missed or late. I also referred a friend to you guys. My fiance went in to ask about the chairs 2 weeks later for him to be told the chairs would come Tuesday. It’s been another 2 weeks. No call no nothing. It’s wrong

My husband and I ordered furniture on the 3rd of march was told it would be delivered the 12th… no call or anything he called and they don’t even have a delivery date…. So of course after waiting a week for nothing and taking off from work because of the hours they operate we have to cancel it because had someone called the days off could’ve been switched but the lack of communication is unfortunate on their part

What is meant by “no credit needed?”
“No Credit Needed” means that you don’t necessarily need to have any established credit history to be approved for a lease. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
Do I have to have a local store?
Yes, online leasing is not available in all areas. Your delivery address must be within 30 miles of a participating Aaron's store. To find your local store, please visit our Store Locator. Unfortunately, there are a few areas that we are unable to service. We rely on our stores to make your leasing experience personal and reliable. If there is not a store in your area, we could not provide the red-carpet service that you deserve.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment).
