The rep named Kevin in the garden center was the epitome of great customer service. He was so authentically sweet and helpful. I was looking for a large container to water all my plants. He put water in the can, without me asking, so that I could see if it was too heavy for me. He made my experience really positive. Somebody give him a raise or bonus, for real!

It doesn’t matter what time of the day you go into the store you can never find an Employee that can help you in your area and then you tell a manager or a Customer Service rep about it. It’s like they don’t even care. It goes to one ear and not the other. That is why we don’t hardly ever shop at this one we risk coming into the store when we need something but we do go to all the other loads, but this one in Catonsville is the worst one ever

I had an unusual and extremely disappointing experience at this location today. I purchased an item on 7/14/26 on the Lowe's website during a one-day deal. I went into this location today, 7/15/26, to pick it up. Luckily, an associate was putting orders into the pickup lockers right as I was scanning my barcode.
When I pulled the item out of the locker, I noticed the factory seals were broken and the box felt too light. I told the associate I wanted to open it right there. Inside, the tool that was supposed to be part of the bundle was completely missing. Additionally, the pickup sticker on the box had another customer's information on it.
The associate tried her best to help me by looking for another complete box. She searched twice, but couldn't find one, even though the system showed one in stock. At that point, she paged the assistant manager on duty. I waited about 15 minutes.
When management finally weighed in, I was told they had to return the item and I would have to re-purchase it. I explained that I bought it on a one-day deal and the regular price was now much higher. I pointed out that they had the "tool only" version in stock—which would have easily solved the problem—but they refused that option. Instead, they agreed to process the return and let me re-purchase the bundle at the promotional price.
However, their system then insisted the only option was to re-purchase the exact, incomplete package I had just returned.
This is when the helpful associate was told to go look for a replacement a second time. While waiting, I heard an announcement that help was needed in "Tool World"—presumably to assist her. After another 15 minutes of waiting, she returned empty-handed again. Unsure of what to do, she had to call the assistant manager for direction yet again.
After spending over an hour dealing with this, the final "solution" offered by management was for me to purchase the item at full price, wait for it to arrive, and then come back to the store later for a partial refund. By this point, my patience was gone and I had to leave to pick up my children from daycare.
It is pathetic that instead of just giving me the missing tool from a "tool only" SKU, management made me wait over an hour and ultimately leave empty-handed. All of this happened because the store failed to inspect a return from a previous customer who clearly stole the tool and returned the box. Had the store done its job, this would have been avoided.
Bottom line: this is a poorly managed store. If you pick up an order here, open the box immediately before leaving. Management does not care about inventory integrity, nor do they care about solving customer problems.
To be clear, this review is focused entirely on management. The two female associates at the customer service desk were incredibly kind and tried their best to help. But management was slow to respond and offered zero realistic solutions. This was a complete waste of time, and I will be avoiding this location in the future.
