Quick, super clean, convenient and always greeted with a smile by Joann. You just do t find customer service like hers anymore. The smart phone app makes entry super easy and managing account. Hands down best storage facility I’ve ever used. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Extra Space Storage on O’Donnell Street in Baltimore, when it comes to Ms. Joanne.
Two years ago, I went through a family emergency that required me to leave my job and return home. During that time, I placed all of my belongings in storage. Unfortunately, due to paperwork issues, I was unable to secure employment for about six months and had no steady income. That’s when Ms. Joanne stepped in—and I will never forget it.
Every single time she called, she was kind, patient, and respectful. Not once did she make me feel ashamed or stressed about not being able to make my payment. Instead, she consistently offered options and worked with me month after month until I was able to get back on my feet. Her compassion during that time meant more to me than words can express.
Fast forward nearly two years later, as I was finally moving out, Ms. Joanne was still the same incredible person. Even while managing the entire facility—helping customers, processing rentals, handling payments, doing maintenance, and ensuring everything ran smoothly—she took time to check on me regularly. Every 30 minutes or so, she would stop by my unit or the moving truck to make sure everything was going well and that they were “packing it nice and tight.”
She even kept an eye on the movers and followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was okay. That level of care and attention is rare.
To some, it might seem like she was just doing her job—but to me, she was truly a blessing during a very stressful time in my life. Ms. Joanne went above and beyond in every possible way, and her kindness will stay with me forever.
