- JSJohn StanleyApr 24, 20262.0Generally clean and well-maintained, but pricing and business practices have gone rapidly downhill since Extra Space took over the facility. Move-in rates are great, but then raised aggressively every 4-6 months like clockwork after that. Other reviews mentioning more than doubling over a year are not exaggerating. They offer absolutely no way to lock in a rate for longer term storage, even if you offer to sign a long-term lease. They'll happily let you move into a different unit at a move-in rate, but then you're stuck shuffling your stuff between units twice a year just to avoid the exponentially growing rent on a small storage unit. The whole business model seems to be built on turning over as many new tenants as possible, hoping some of them stay indefinitely without noticing the insane rent increases. Wish the previous owners had stuck around, it was much better as a mom and pop operation!
