⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service — Thank You, Marcela Cruz!
I usually don’t write reviews, but the service, kindness, patience, and genuine care I received from Marcela Cruz deserve to be recognized. I was honestly tempted to take her out to lunch 😂 just to thank her, but I didn’t want to appear weird!
My experience started almost a year ago when a specialist came to my home to help with the design and measurements for my custom drapery. Unfortunately, the wrong order was placed.
I directed to the Maryland area manager and explained what had happened. Even after showing the communication between the specialist and me regarding what I had requested, I was repeatedly told that nothing could be done because the order was custom-made.
Months went by. I called, left messages, followed up, and waited. When I finally received a response, I was again told there was nothing that could be done. After almost a year, I had pretty much given up. Eventually, I was told they could send someone to install what I had received — an installation that I still had to pay for — even though it wasn’t what I originally wanted.
Then, thankfully, Marcela came into the picture. 🙏
Marcela happened to see my open case, and from our very first conversation, the experience was completely different.
She listened. She was kind. She cared.
She told me she would look into my case, call me back, and follow up — and she actually did.
A few days later, she came back with the solution I had been asking for all along: they could provide me with the custom drapery I originally wanted and give me credit for what I had already paid.
That was it! That was all I had been asking for!
I never wanted a refund. I was always willing to pay the difference necessary to get the custom drapery and design I originally requested.
Throughout the entire process, Marcela kept me informed. She was patient, respectful, professional, and genuinely concerned about making sure I was satisfied with my experience. She never made me feel like I was bothering her or that my concerns didn’t matter.
She then connected me with the wonderful ladies at Blinds To Go in Annapolis, where we essentially started the process fresh. They were also incredibly helpful and made the experience so much better.
And now, almost ONE YEAR later, my custom drapery is finally installed! 🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
