  Extremely Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Communication I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication I have received from this company. Appointment have been changed without properly notifying me, and I have had to reach out multiple times just to get basic answers, often with no response. On August 21, I was told that a manager would contact me regarding my concerns. I was also reviewing my service contract and noticed that it did not clearly detail the specific services that would be included. I requested that the contract be corrected before I signed it. Instead of receiving a timely response, I had to follow up again on August 25, nearly a week later. At that time, I was told the manager was unavailable and that a supervisor would contact me instead. Today is September 2, and I still have not received a single call from either the manager or supervisor. The lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. If a customer is told that someone will call them, I expect that commitment to be honored. Having to repeatedly chase the company for answers is frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, my pest problem is now worse than it was before this company began servicing my property. I expected the issue to improve with professional treatment, not get worse while I am also struggling to get anyone to address my concerns. Overall, the customer service has been extremely poor, communication has been inconsistent, and there has been very little accountability or follow-through. I would strongly encourage management to improve their communication with customers and, more importantly, actually follow up when they promise that someone will call.

  Sold us termite prevention and explained to my husband that it only cost $50 a month. What they failed to explain is that it was around $2.5K and an additional $50 a month. So not worth that cost. Would have shopped around had we known that.

  I’m sorry I had to leave even 1 star. The service is horrible. Missed appointments, rescheduled others, and I’ve never had more insects around my home since I started the contract with aptive. Not to mention the lies I was fed when I signed up. For anyone thinking of getting a contract with them and they say in Maryland you can get out of your contract if you are unsatisfied with their service, it’s a lie. You also can’t get out if you move.

  GOOD LUCK attempting to cancel. I had the absolute worst experience attempting to cancel because I got escalated to a supervisor that was rude and abrasive towards me. I fully explained the situation and why I no longer required the service but he was inexplicably aggressive towards me about the whole situation. A cancellation should be easy and straightforward and I understand the desire to retain someone but you do not need to be rude and unprofessional and HANG UP ON A CUSTOMER. It’s not how you do business. I won’t allow it to define my whole experience with Aptive which has otherwise been great, but a supervisor is the last person that should be catching attitudes with customers.

  If a negative star rating were an option, it would be fully warranted here. This company engages in deeply deceptive billing fraud. Despite our explicit, repeated cancellations confirmed directly with multiple managers, they continue to trespass on our property to manufacture unauthorized charges.Aptive has consistently manipulated pricing without consent. They secretly increased our contractually quoted rate without notice, and we discovered they were perpetrating the exact same overcharging tactics on my mother's separate account. Most egregiously, they repeatedly billed us for services during heavy rain—knowing full well treatments cannot be applied in those conditions—and intentionally delayed issuing the refunds we were owed.While the frontline workers are polite and apologetic, the corporate management and billing departments drive these predatory practices. They have gone so far as to threaten our credit by attempting to send us to collections for illegitimate balances on services never rendered. This is not poor communication; it is systemic financial exploitation.
