Here's a more concise version that still captures the key points and maintains a professional but pointed tone:
My experience with Aptive was extremely disappointing.
I decided to cancel after the company failed to show up for a scheduled service appointment that appears to have never been properly scheduled on their end. What made matters worse was how the situation was handled.
When I signed up, the sales representative assured me he would be available to help if I ever had any issues. When I reached out after the missed appointment, he simply told me to call customer service.
The first customer service representative I spoke with was argumentative, called me a liar, and ultimately hung up on me. When I called back, the next representative repeatedly delayed my cancellation with sales pitches and even tried to guilt me by saying the cancellation fee was "a lot of money" and "might mean something to someone in this economy."
Mistakes happen, but disrespectful customer service and manipulative retention tactics are unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Aptive.

Awesome work. Fast response.
I had a dead deer that felt into my fish pond and need help to take it out. They came out the next day with the team and work fast. Price is reasonable compare to other company. I would use them again for other services.

John, came by and explained the services in great deal. The services they provide made sense and addresses a real issue.
Even though I was not able to sign on, I believe the customer service was great and he was understanding.
If John pops by your home, give him 5 mins.

One of you door to door salesman came to our house today even though we have a no soliciting sign right next to the ring doorbell (obviously he had to see it to even press the doorbell). He ignored it and repeatedly kept hitting the doorbell to the point my kids came by the door and had to wake us up. I walked out asked him if he saw the sign he then tried to sell me on service, i asked him to leave, he did not he then continued to go on a rant about how our neighbors use you guys. I will NEVER work with a company whose employees can't even read/respect a sign. After telling him he woke us up and to leave again he then questioned if i was even the home owner. I told him to get off my property, next time i'm calling the police for trespassing and harassment. Your company is unprofessional you need to train your employees to read signs.

I've used aptive for about a two years now, I truly enjoy that the pesticide is indeed effective. The way that it works isnt my favorite but I can understand why the need to bait the bugs to eat it to then take it to their nest, but during that first week HAVE MERCY I see so many before they disappear.
What I do not enjoy is that the time window to come is so long and almost impossible to arrange it to get the inside sprayed, so if everyone works then take half the day off to make sure you can get the inside sprayed because its a 4 hour window.
They do take pictures and videos while the spraying is happening and I LOVE that, plus the gentlemen are always nice and polite.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
