- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. I lost receipt and even though box said Loews on it they would not even let me exchange for one with the actual hardware to install so I'm stuck with it and can't use it. So I left and went to buy another one at Home Depot where they have much better customer service.
- JJJayMay 1, 20261.0I strongly advise against buying appliances from Lowe’s. I purchased a refrigerator that arrived defective, and the return process has been a total nightmare. I have been without a fridge for seven days now, and all I get is the runaround. Despite the "army" of managers they have on staff, nobody seems to know what’s going on or how to fix the issue. Save yourself the stress and buy directly from the manufacturer instead.

Great sale prices on garden center items like mulch and flowers too! Suggestion: make sure Clearance Items are clearly marked as we tried to buy something from the Garden Center Clearance rolling racks, but the racks in the middle of the Clearance area were not supposed to be there and not on clearance. The roll-able racks on either end were Clearance items, so it was a confusing layout.

After 4 days, no delivery, and about 20 calls to both this store and their corporate office, the only remedy they provided was for me to show up in person and ask what was going on. Showed up only to wait another 45 mins for just a partial refund since they couldn't refund the delivery fee for the delivery I never received. Crazy. Avoid this place and do not order anything for delivery as that seems too complicated for them to handle.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
