Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

one star for the customer service at this store. They just tell you something they cannot guarantee so they can hang up on you.
placed online order and the delivery missed some items but still said delivered. So called the store and was told they will find another driver to deliver it by next day. Nothing happened after one day. called again and was told, ohh, we cannot find a driver to pick it up (and we just dont want to inform you). You have to replace the order. I asked about the shipping fee and was told they can waive it once i placed the order. Then two days after the order, nothing happened again. Called the store again and was told that they cannot wave the shipping fee, and please call this number (their shipping partner) to get your shipping fee back. Worse store customer service ive ever seen. Cannot solve simple issues.

Lowe's, Woburn - Ordered 2 items of which 1 was cancelled. Called the store shortly after the cancellation notification to try to cancel the 2nd item. The AI assistant was unable to complete the cancellation, so I requested to speak with an associate. I tried 3 times to get someone on the phone and was not successful. I waited a few minutes each time before hanging up with the hope that someone would answer. I also tried online to make the cancellation and that was unsuccessful; hence, the attempts on the phone. The decline in good, available customer service is unfortunate. These experiences are not forgotten.

Lowe’s in Woburn is where miserable people go to finish their careers.
I went into Lowe's Home Improvement this morning and was initially greeted by a garden center cashier who, although gave me the wrong information, at least had a smile on his face when he did it.
I then had the misfortune of bumping into somebody in an aisle whom I asked for help, and she told me, “this isn’t my department,” and harumphed. When I said, “would you rather I go ask somebody else?” she said, “I guess not, I’ll try to help you.” She helped me in her own rude way, and once again, I was pointed in the wrong direction.
Because I did not have the right directions, I had to ask a third person. That person, although not rude, simply pointed to where I was supposed to go.
The creme de la creme, though, was when I went to cash out and Lorraine was standing by the self-checkout area. I said, “could you please help me with a gift card?” She made an audible snort out of her nose and made me wait and wait and wait. Then finally, when she locked eyes with me, she realized she had to come help. She took the gift card out of my hand, said in a very derogatory tone, “just swipe the gift card.” When she couldn’t read the four-digit code on the back, she said, “scratch this off, read the code. I can’t see that,” and shoved the gift card back into my hand.
I don’t expect a lot from Lowe’s when I go in, but I certainly don’t expect to be treated rudely.
