  This mattress store is the best! Doesn’t look like much on the outside but don’t be fooled. Instead of wasting money on a fancy showroom, advertising or well-known name brands, they work with top-quality suppliers and manufacturers, hire super knowledgeable people, and provide exceptional service. On my visit, Therone was manning the store—lucky me! He was funny, low-key, and super helpful without being pushy. I ended up with a wonderful, gorgeous latex mattress, and Therone got the manufacturer to change the color of the side panels for me. Even better, they delivered it two days later. Besides providing great service, they stand by their products and they want you to be happy. Their return policy is generous, so buyers plagued with “what ifs” aren’t locked in. Highly recommend!

  It was finally time to replace the 2 mattresses I bought at Watertown Mattress 10 years ago. I was so happy this gem survived our crazy economy and wasn't forced out by larger stores. Once again, Mike, Therone and Junior set me up with 2 fabulous new ones. The store is bare bones and more warehouse than showroom but the service and friendliness are unmatched. Highly recommend!

  Therone is the longtime owner andreally helpful and takes time and let you try all the beds. just try to come when Therone is here. Trust me under all that niceness Therone is still a salesman too, but at least he keeps it real and is very knowledgeable about his craft. just taking a star off of for the other salesman who caused me to lose almost $2000 on a bed that was not fitting for me. He told me there was no return policy when in fact, there is one

  Went in yesterday and met with Mike. Great experience. First thing he asks me is what my budget range is. I tell him I'd like to keep it under $1500. "No problem. We can do that for you." He shows me a couple around $1200. "But I do also have another great option for you at $1000." So he was actually trying to undersell me, which I appreciated. But I ended up deciding to spend the extra $250 for a little extra quality. Much prefer giving these gents business, rather than a chain store.

  Come for the great product, but stay for the great people!! We had a very specific need — the kind where another mattress store literally told us, “Oh, you need to go to Watertown Mattress. They’ll have whatever it is you’re looking for.” And boy, were they right. Their inventory is incredible. But even more incredible? Mike. From the moment I called, Mike didn’t just “know his stuff” — he was genuinely warm, kind, and so deeply helpful. You could feel that he actually cared. Not in a transactional, “let me make the sale” kind of way, but in a real, human way. He listened. He understood exactly what we needed. He made us feel taken care of. It honestly feels like you just don’t find stores like this anymore — where it’s not some arbitrary transaction, but a true connection. The kind of place that builds community, not just a customer list. And as new parents trying to get out of the house with a baby, his patience and flexibility (even staying open a little late for us!) meant more than I can say. This was truly a 100 out of 10 experience. I would go back hands down anytime — and I’ll be sending anyone and everyone I know straight to Mike. He’s just wonderful.
