- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. No offer of assistance on price check. Complaint to store manager unanswered and corporate office sent a standard "we will look into this" response. They will assuredly not see me again.

Now I'm taking a 3rd day off of work so I ask how am I going to be compensated? There response was I must accept the delivery and then we can talk about that. I called the store manager directly. She tries to help and gets the same response, so she advices she will help above and beyond what they are willing to do over the phone. They offer me $50 gift card for 2 whole unnecessary days wasted waiting. The manager that said she would help all of sudden cant come to the phone after I spent an hour trying to reach her. left on hold for 30 + minutes multiple times to call back and be told, she's outside because "big wigs" are coming you should call this number. The same unorganized delivery people who can not help. I'm cutting my losses. keep you $50 gift certificate. DO NOT FOR YOUR OWN SAKE ORDER from this store. your time is more valuable.
