Excellent clean, secure facility. Great friendly service no matter who answers the phone at the place. When my employees pick up stock from my unit I only hear good things about the nice people in the office. Yehiah has been a wonderful point of contact managing my companies storage needs. While we don't love the price fluctuations that's the only complaint. My company has had storage with this location for just over a year and I know my stock is clean, safe and secure.

We rent two Extra Space Storage units while helping an elderly relative downsize—one in Weymouth and one in Waltham. Both facilities have been clean, secure, and well run.
One thing to know: there are two Extra Space Storage locations on Bear Hill Road in Waltham. We prepaid online for a unit at 195 Bear Hill Rd., but quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit because stairs weren’t an option. If you have mobility constraints or need a passenger elevator to access an upper-floor unit, it’s worth confirming which Bear Hill Road location you’re booking.
Mark at 195 immediately found availability at 171 Bear Hill Rd., and Yehiah, the manager there, made the transfer seamless. The online reservation system could do a better job distinguishing between the two Bear Hill Road locations and their accessibility features, but the onsite teams at both facilities went above and beyond to get us into the right unit.
The covered drive-in loading bays at 171 are a huge plus, and both of these locations earned five stars from us for outstanding customer service. Highly recommend.

Management is very disorganized, I informed them I was moving out on 6/27/26, moved out on 6/26, confirmed by phone call I was moved out. Then on 7/14 received a monthly storage charge, was told I would be refunded. Then was called 7/27, was informed I have still been using my access code this month and questioned. Was accused of using my code/entering the building in July. Yehiah, who was also the one who issued my access code originally, got very upset when I informed him I had not been there and that they have cameras everywhere that they can check. My unit has been vacant since a day prior to my move out date and I am still fighting to have this charge reversed over a month later. Why do they not deactivate someone’s code upon move out or check up on the billing system once someone moves out is something I don’t quite understand. A company like Extra Space should not have trouble with such a simple process. Move in process was sloppy with no instructions, move out had great instructions but unfortunately was not processed correctly. Will not be using Extra Space in the future.
