DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE UNTRAINED AND INCOMPETENT. I had bought a washer, dryer, all the set up accessories and paid for delivery and set up. You would think that if you pay someone to set something up they would be a trained professional at doing so, guess Lowes doesn’t think so. After using my dryer for the first time there was a horrible melting smell and my clothes wouldn’t dry and the dryer was showing an error meaning there was a blockage. I called immediately and they sent someone out to check it out. You could imagine my surprise when they pulled out the dryer vent (that was install by the people that Lowes sent) was covered on the dryer side with a plastic deli cup and duck tape. The original installation team attached an old vent (which they aren’t supposed to do since it’s unsafe and I had bought new accessories) to the dryer with the cup over it. I just moved to this new house I have no idea how old those accessories are and they didn’t ask if it was ok to use them either. I complained to Lowe’s, to the customer care line, to the distributor and even had one of y the delivery team give me their manager to file a formal complaint through them. After the 4th delivery team I finally got a brand new machine with the vent set up correctly. Throughout this whole process Iost pay from work having to be late to be home for the delivery team, wasted 3 days off sitting home all day waiting for the delivery teams, and almost lost my house and all my belongings due to negligence. Not to mention the fact that 3 families live in the same building as me so we all could have lost our belongings or even our lives due to Lowe’s neglect. Thank goodness the dryer automatically turned off when it sensed a blockage because who knows what would have happened. Through all those complaints the only thing other than a new dryer (which I needed since they broke the first one and I still paid full price for it) was a $50 Lowes e gift card. LOWES DOES NOT VALUE SAFETY. They take the easy way out by hiring cheap labor and not training them properly. Cutting corners and saving costs almost cost my my life DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. I attached the photos of the cup and vent that were connected to my dryer. As you can see the cup has brown char marks from the heat.

I came to this store today and saw a large display that advertised if you buy two Craftsman batteries and charger for $99.00 you get a free tool valued up to $139.00 but after finding out that they ran out of the 2 battery pack they were replacing it with a single battery and charger I spoke with the manager and he said while supplies last and I suggested he take down the display to his no response.
Sounds like a typical bait and switch to me.
