Not a huge selection of kid friendly painting supplies, but I got something that worked fine for what I needed. Super friendly staff, especially in the framing area! Two checkout lanes open. Cashiers were nice and fast.
- DMDenise McleanJun 1, 20261.0I have visited this Hobby Lobby location multiple times, and one issue seems to happen every time: long checkout lines with only one cashier working. What is especially frustrating is seeing a manager standing next to the cashier with a clipboard, observing while customers wait in line. The cashier I typically see has clearly been there for quite some time, so it doesn’t appear to be a training situation. As a customer, it’s difficult to understand why additional help isn’t provided when the line continues to grow. Good leadership means supporting both employees and customers. During busy periods, it would be far more helpful for management to jump in and assist at a register rather than simply observing. Doing so would improve the customer experience, reduce wait times, and show support for the employees who are working hard to keep things moving. I enjoy shopping at Hobby Lobby, but the checkout experience at this location consistently feels understaffed and inefficient. I hope management will take a more active role in helping when lines become excessive.
