  **update** you responded on Google review. However you've already canceled my service you've already charged me the cancellation fees so why would I contact you? To beg for more? No thanks, I learned my lesson it only took two contracts and two termination fees 🙄. Well done I was a customer of Aptive a couple of years ago and it was disappointing. Just inconsistent service. Daniel a customer service rep came back through the neighborhood and convinced me to give them another try. I had specific needs. We have two rottweilers that have access to our fenced-in backyard when we're not home. I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I requested the services are done then so I can bring my dogs in the house and close the door. NEVER did that happen. I would be at work and get pictures from the front of my house which is about 5 yards from the street and they took pictures of how they removed cobwebs from my front porch. Well, my backyard mosquito trap that they never took care of, was never replaced. The very last time they came here, my porch was left with cobwebs in the back and my front porch also had spider webs that were not addressed. I reached out to my customer service rep and said every single month I have a problem. He reached out to his superiors. 2 Days later my card was charged the 199 cancellation fee, which was 2 days after I was charged for the service I was unsatisfied with. This company is a mess. Pictures were taken 15 minutes after the service was completed. I have more, this is just the most recent disappointment Only reason they got two stars instead of one or zero is because their customer service rep Daniel really tried to do right by me. He was unsuccessful, but I do believe he tried

  WARNING!! Do Not Use this company. Around Springtime a very friendly and well mannered gentleman came to my door. He said they could get rid of the ants that were essentially destroying my lawn amongst other things. Twice since then they charged me for services I never received. I called to cancel my services and the man I spoke to said that the monthly fee is much like a subscription fee and some months you may get your property serviced and some months you may not but you have to pay either way. I asked him in all fairness since they had charged my card a couple days prior to the call and never did the service if he would take that off of the cancellation fee which is $200 dollars. He refused he not only stole my monthly fee but then charged me the $200 anyways. I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone knows what type of business they are conducting. To top it all off in all the months I had the service they never got rid of the problem. As a matter of fact one technician told me they normally don’t even spray the whole lawn just the perimeter. I urge you to consider a company that treats their customers better.

  A salesperson came to my door and took advantage of the fact that my English isn't very good. Initially, the agreement was for just two trial visits and two payments. When a third payment was charged, I called to cancel the service and discovered I would have to pay for another 10 installments. I immediately tried to cancel the service and the charges. I was told there was a $200 fee, and that cancellation would only be possible after paying it. I want to express my extreme indignation regarding this company, Aptive Pest Control. I do not recommend them and hope never to use their services again.

  I've had subscriptions to multiple pest control companies including Orkin, and Terminix. Pros: - Scheduling is relatively flexible. - Technicians are extremely friendly and communicate very well when they're expected to arrive. - Technicians do there job within the boundaries of there procedures. Cons: - They use a call center in India to troubleshoot issues. These call centers have no ability or knowledge to solve issues. - They essentially only offer pest control services, extremely limited on there ability to solve pest issues when they occur. - There techs are not allowed to use ladders... this means all treatment and solutions are services by 25 foot poles or control arms. Service Experience Review: We have a hive of Hornets growing under a panel of our exterior roof. This panel is located on the first floor of a ranch style home. The only solution Aptive techs are allowed to use is spray a toxic chemical on the exterior of the house in hopes the worker hornets bring it into the hive to kill the colony. It's been 3 weeks and the hive has continued to grow, the chemical has had minimal effect. The company, based on there policies, are not able to provide any solution to this and has advised me to find another exterminator to solve the issue. The techs are knowledgeable on what needs to happen, but the company prevents them from doing it. As mentioned in the cons section, if you're looking to pay 75-100 a month on preventative service that is rarely fully effective, this company is decent cause they show up on time. While you're locked into the contract with them, if you require actual service to remove an actual infestation, they may be the worst company I've worked with.
