This is an abhorrent joke of a company. I paid for a premium service. Monthly throughout the year. It has been over a year and they have canceled or no showed all but three times. If you have had an experience like mine with aptive reach out to me. These guys need to be held accountable for breaking our contract with impunity and continuing to charge $100/month for NOTHING.

I've had subscriptions to multiple pest control companies including Orkin, and Terminix.
Pros:
- Scheduling is relatively flexible.
- Technicians are extremely friendly and communicate very well when they're expected to arrive.
- Technicians do there job within the boundaries of there procedures.
Cons:
- They use a call center in India to troubleshoot issues. These call centers have no ability or knowledge to solve issues.
- They essentially only offer pest control services, extremely limited on there ability to solve pest issues when they occur.
- There techs are not allowed to use ladders... this means all treatment and solutions are services by 25 foot poles or control arms.
Service Experience Review:
We have a hive of Hornets growing under a panel of our exterior roof. This panel is located on the first floor of a ranch style home. The only solution Aptive techs are allowed to use is spray a toxic chemical on the exterior of the house in hopes the worker hornets bring it into the hive to kill the colony. It's been 3 weeks and the hive has continued to grow, the chemical has had minimal effect. The company, based on there policies, are not able to provide any solution to this and has advised me to find another exterminator to solve the issue. The techs are knowledgeable on what needs to happen, but the company prevents them from doing it.
As mentioned in the cons section, if you're looking to pay 75-100 a month on preventative service that is rarely fully effective, this company is decent cause they show up on time. While you're locked into the contract with them, if you require actual service to remove an actual infestation, they may be the worst company I've worked with.

Would you like to pay a monthly fee for nothing? Sign up for aptive. They don’t reduce the number of bugs, but they do lock you into a contract. My husband thought this was a good idea when they came door to door. However is been a headache. Please avoid this scam.

I was harassed by a sales person at 6:30 at night, who would not leave my front porch and was irritated because my 2 large dogs were protecting my house. This person was on a private road and was not invited and would not leave after I repeatedly told him “no thank you” regarding what he was selling. If this is how the company runs their sales group I’m surprised if they have any business.

I don't even know where to begin. I mistakenly got into a 2 yr contract for 55 a month. Their first "treatment " was on June 5th. We have never seen improvement from the hornets and wasps since day 1. In fact, it got worse. They did a courtesy visit a couple times, no improvement, only made the pests angrier. After a treatment on June 30, I was in my pool area with my grandkids, trying to get away from a hornet and tripped backwards and split my head open....long story of treatment and still recovering. Not totally blaming them, but shouldn't of happened. Well, after multiple failed attempts to treat our problem and trying to talk to someone who either can't speak English or has marbles in their mouth I finally canceled our contract this morning for a fee of 200.00. I feel so scammed. Worst company I've ever encountered. If you have a problem with hornets and wasps, do NOT call this company!!

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
