He then asked if I needed propane because they had just gotten a new delivery, which I did need. Incredibly helpful staff member, I'll be going to this Lowe's for all of my hardware and supplies moving forward.

I am writing to report a highly disappointing customer service experience by Brenda of Pro desk at Lowe's on June 4, 2026. Brenda was idly sitting far back on a chair away from the Pro checkout counter.
Even thought it turned out that Brenda was on duty cashier for the Pro desk, she did not know anything about the product piled up in front of the Pro counter. She mumbled instead of speaking clearly. When I want to clarify what she said, she insulted me and started argument instead of clarification. She repeatedly insisted that all loaders were on lunch. This was clearly untrue. When I returned to the counter to get her name, she intentionally hid her name plate with her left hand.
Fortunately, I managed to get assistance from Alan who was on the floor and Sam a loader in the parking lot.
The manager, Sean, a reasonable decent man, should replace the Pro Desk cashier who showed no interest in working for the customer or store, by being absolutely rude, unattentive, unhelpful and dishonest.

Worst service ever.
I purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's on May 25 and paid for installation. The installation was scheduled for June 2, but no one showed up. No phone call, no email, and no explanation.
Getting help was just as frustrating. I spent a long time on hold before finally reaching customer service, only to be transferred around and told the earliest available installation date was June 12. I was promised a callback from a agent, but nobody ever called.
After this experience, I started reading other reviews and was shocked to see that missed installation appointments and poor communication seem to be a recurring problem. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident.
What is even more disappointing is that Lowe's does not appear to take these complaints seriously or make any real effort to resolve them. Customers pay for products and services in good faith, yet their time, inconvenience, and concerns seem to be ignored.
Lowe's had no problem taking my money, but when it came time to deliver the service, they failed completely. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable.
If this is a known problem that keeps happening, Lowe's management needs to step up and start putting customers' interests first instead of leaving them to deal with broken promises and endless delays.
I would not recommend Lowe's appliance purchase and installation services to anyone.
