Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

Bought a defective item that broke the moment I tried to use it. I'm disabled and in chronic pain. I called an asked if I could do a refund over the phone since im disabled and its a hassle to drive back, item was $10. They said no, made no attempt to get a manager or resolve the issue and employee hung up on me cause I was rude about having to be disabled and in pain and bring back a blatantly defective item that should never have been on a retail shelf to begin with. The point of a store isn't to sell me something that breaks and I have to return. Try having some actual STANDARDS!!!!! I returned the item, along with everything else I bought, and went to a competitor and spent my money with them. They actually had the same item I wanted, but in much higher quality and it won't break the moment I use it. So, shopping at Lowes only results in poor quality products and poor service. I'll never bother setting foot in another Lowes, absolute waste of my time, energy and fuel driving back and forth. You should fire whoever does your buying, a stupid 10 item, a Shepards hook, lost you a customer for life. Hope others shop elsewhere too. Your products are garbage, I dont care if you don't manufacture it, if it's on your shelf it should function. Selling garbage only teaches me your store is a waste of time, and it is.

I like the location and the people are usually friendly. Reason for 2 stars. Lowes owns their pants so they do not care for them at all. They let them die in the store, no proper treatment of the plants. What is worse is that they won't even discount dieing plants. Their flower and plant area is the worst but to not even give the chance for customers to see if they can save these plants is pretty sad. Lowes needs to do better. I walked this Lowes and the amount of dead plants, dieing plants, and infected plants they have and they are allowing them to just rot is insane. I offered one manager to buy 2 full boxes of dead terrarium pants, how can you kill moss? That's how bad it is, dusty boxes in a corner. They had maybe about $10 worth of glass and $2 worth of rope. Plants were all dead, could not be saved and they preferred to place and leave the dusty boxes on the floor and not sell them at a lower price. That's why Home Depot just stays being better when it comes to the gardening area at least.

Always an excellent experience. Every time I walk into the store, I’m greeted with a smile and someone who is always willing to help. Today, we were on the search for missing pieces to complete our paver patio. Corey from the Lowe’s Pro department truly went above and beyond. It wasn’t obvious where the pavers were located in the store and he went on a hunt for me. His communication was excellent and even called me to follow up twice later on in the day. All of the guys at this store truly put in 110%. My husband and I love visiting this Lowe’s compared to all of the other stores in the area! Good job to the hiring committee!
