  My washer was delivered on 07/21. The delivery workers did not properly attach the lines which caused the washer to leak. The water leaked overnight and caused damage to my home. It is now 30 days post delivery and my damages have not been repaired. I have reached out to Lowe’s several times for assistance and have received none.

  I had the worst experience with Lowe's in Danvers. I purchased an LG dishwasher on August 2nd and was told it would be delivered on August 17. On the evening of the 15th, the delivery service left a message saying they would deliver on August 26th. They never left a phone number, asked if this change was OK, or even provided a name. I went into the store the next day and was told it was out of their hands. One of two things happened: it wasn't entered properly for delivery on the 17th, or the delivery company wasn't going to honor the order. I canceled the order and bought the same thing at Home Depot for $100.00 less.

  Extremely disappointed with our experience at Lowe's. What should have been a simple range purchase turned into over a month of delays due to poor communication and mistakes. We were given incorrect information about product availability, delivery, and installation, and the inspector failed to identify that we needed a different power cord before installation. As a result, our old stove was removed, we were left without a working stove for 10 days, and Lowe's repeatedly told us they were "escalating" the issue with little action. The only bright spots were Rick, Brian, and the installers, Nick H. and Jullien, who were professional and genuinely helpful. Lowe's needs to significantly improve communication between its store, inspectors, and third-party installers.

  Our experience with Lowe's has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish, and unfortunately, it was due almost entirely to poor communication and lack of coordination. We first visited Lowe's at the end of May to purchase a new range. About a week later, we returned to finalize the order, only to be told the model was out of stock and no longer sold. The associate, Tom, insisted this was the case, even though we had confirmed just one week earlier that it was available. Once the order was finally placed, we were told delivery and installation would take about a month. Before installation, Lowe's sent a third-party inspector to verify that everything was ready. He checked our existing setup and assured us everything was up to code and ready for replacement. From there, the communication became even worse. We received conflicting information about delivery and installation. Text updates showed the installation appointment before the appliance pickup, which made no sense. Some Lowe's employees told us the third-party installers would pick up the range and bring any necessary installation materials, while others said they wouldn't. No one seemed to know the actual process. The biggest issue was that neither the inspector nor Lowe's identified that our new range required a different electrical cord. If the inspector had done a thorough job or if anyone had properly reviewed the installation requirements, we would have been told ahead of time and could have purchased the correct cord before installation day. When the installers, Nick H. and Jullien, arrived, they immediately realized the correct cord was missing. Unlike many of the Lowe's employees we dealt with, they were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They explained exactly which cord we needed and helped us determine the correct one. We even had to call our own electrician to verify everything because, at that point, we had little confidence that the inspection had been done properly. After purchasing the correct cord, we expected installation to be rescheduled within a day or two since the issue had been identified and resolved. Instead, we were left without a working stove because the installers had already removed our old range and did not reinstall it. After multiple phone calls, we kept hearing the same response: "We'll escalate the issue." Nothing changed. The earliest appointment they offered was two weeks later. I had to make three separate trips to Lowe's just to ask someone to move the installation sooner. Eventually, the best they could do was schedule us 10 days later. To make matters worse, even the installers mentioned that when they went to Lowe's to pick up the appliance, the store employees didn't seem to know what was going on. The installers themselves had to use the store's laptop to verify they had all the correct items before leaving. The only Lowe's employees who genuinely tried to help throughout this entire process were Rick and Brian. They listened, communicated clearly, and actually cared about resolving the issue. Unfortunately, our experience with Tom was the complete opposite. He seemed uninterested in helping, showed very little empathy for the problems we were experiencing, and never appeared to take ownership of the situation or understand how difficult the lack of communication between Lowe's and its third-party installers had become. In the end, this entire ordeal—which lasted well over a month—could have been avoided if the initial inspection had been done correctly or if Lowe's had communicated properly with its installation team. Instead, we dealt with incorrect information, conflicting instructions, unnecessary delays, multiple trips to the store, countless phone calls, and spent 10 days without a working stove because of mistakes that should never have happened. Lowe's seriously needs to improve communication between its stores, customer service, inspectors, and third-party installers. No customer should have to go through an experience like this for a standard appliance installation.
