    Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed,  To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing.     Place is an absolute joke, i have been calling and letting it ring for 10 minutes straight. No answer, poor customer service. What's the point of having phones if you are not going to answer?

    DELIVERY FRAUD AND COMPLETE CUSTOMER SERVICE ABANDONMENT — AVOID AT ALL COSTS What Lowe's did wasn't just a delivery mistake — it was a deliberate deception. I placed two separate orders and only received one item. But here's where it gets outrageous: Lowe's photographed the SAME delivered item from two different angles to manipulate their own tracking system into showing both orders as "delivered." That is not an accident. That is fraud. What followed was somehow even worse. I called four times — FOUR — and each call meant sitting on hold for 20 to 40 minutes, only to be told someone would follow up within 24 hours. No one ever did. Not once. Not a single callback, email, or resolution of any kind. They took my money, failed to deliver my product, covered it up with doctored photos, and then stonewalled me every time I tried to get answers. I spend thousands of dollars every year on home improvement projects. That money will now go entirely to Home Depot — without hesitation and without looking back. The missing item is infuriating. But the calculated way Lowe's handled (or rather, buried) this situation is what truly disqualifies them as a retailer. This isn't incompetence. This is a company that simply does not care if it wrongs its customers.

    DELIVERY SCAM and never resolved (terrible customer service). I ordered two items (in two orders) and only one was delivered but Lowes took a picture of the same item from different angles to trick the tracking sytem. Called in 4 times and each time they said they would get back to me in 24 hours and never did. Each time I called it was a 20-40 minute hold time. I spent thousands each year on home projects and will always go to Home Depot from now. What's worse is how the handled, not even the fact that I was scammed.

    Hands down the best hardware store around! They have everything I need, and the employees are incredibly helpful. I always leave feeling like I got good advice and the right tools for the job!
