Lowe's Home Delivery is the single most incompetent operation I have ever dealt with.
How does a company this large manage to fail at the same job over and over again? Multiple missed deliveries. Multiple broken promises. Multiple days wasted sitting at home waiting for appliances that never showed up. Every phone call ends with an apology, a new excuse, and another promise that gets broken.
The communication is nonexistent. Customer service has no idea what the delivery company is doing. The delivery company blames the store. The store blames the warehouse. Nobody takes ownership, and the customer is left paying the price.
The most unbelievable part is that after so many failures, they still act like each mistake is an isolated incident instead of fixing the obvious problems in their delivery system. It's a masterclass in passing the buck.
If you value your time, your sanity, or expect even a basic level of customer service, buy your appliances somewhere else. The savings aren't worth the aggravation.
Lowe's didn't just fail to deliver appliances—they failed to deliver on every promise they made. I will never trust them with another major purchase.

Online order! Excellent help from Anita !!! She quickly resolved a serious issue I had, for an item needed ASAP to get my bathroom back together. The online order delivery of a shower door got messed up - supposed to be delivered to store 7/2 and then over the weekend. I never got an email but the status changed to “ problem with this order, but we are working on it” with a deliver to store date three weeks later (!). It was not easy to determine what was going on. She helped me cancel original order, and then re-order with free delivery (6 days from now - if everything goes well….). I have to confess I usually default to Home Depot, but this experience was a very good one and I won’t hesitate to visit Danvers Lowe’s again. Lowe’s, keep up the good work - and take care of your good employees!

experience recently with Lowes in Danvers, Massachusetts. (Assistant Manager identified as Jerry). I ordered 2 items on Lowes.com to be delivered to my home/business. Lowes offered delivery within 24 h so I took it. Order placed 6/16/2026. After a couple of days, nothing arrived so I called 1-800-Lowes. They were able to call the store and find out that the delivery status was changed to DELAYED because the Danvers store handed my package off to their delivery service but the service (they think) returned my package undelivered. BUT, they would resolve and get back to me. I called again a few days later and a repeat of the previous unproductive call. So I drove to the store on 6/23/26 and found the guy who handed off my delivery but they just did not know what happened after that. They searched and could find nothing at their counter. So they got Jerry the ASM involved who was the least helpful of the bunch. He said that they needed to email the delivery organization and get things sorted out. Meanwhile, said Jerry, there is nothing we can do for the customer. So I ordered and paid on 6/16/26 and here we are on 6/24/26 and there is nothing they can do for me. All for a package under $40. What an inept crew at this Danvers, Massachusetts location
