  After writing the quoted review below a week after my experience, I was called by Matt in Connecticut from Leslie's customer service. (I believe that Matt's call was related to my original complaint, not to my on-line review.) Matt was great. He explained some aspects of the different chlorines to me, he apologized for the attitude that I encountered in the Danvers store, and he arranged for a refund. Thanks, Matt-- you've ensured that I will try Leslie's again. "It’s honestly hard to imagine worse customer service. In the store, the manager was not only dismissive on both of my visits, but gave me incorrect advice on my first visit. Customer service has been a series of AI bot responses that have said nothing and have promised that I would be called by a person, but no one has called. And when I called the phone number for customer service, after going through some AI prompts, no one picked up the phone. In summary, I was sold the wrong chemicals. As a result, I’ve wasted $100 and my time; Leslie’s has lost a future customer. But I am truly stunned by how bad this company is to its customers."

  Unfortunately we trusted Leslie’s pools with our new pool heater and pool replacement… HUGE MISTAKE. The pool came with missing pieces, liner ripped, frame part missing. The heater came damaged and we had to have someone pick up a brand new one. The worst part? LESLIES DID NOTHING. I had to call corporate a million times, files various complaints, threaten with legal action… but the only thing that solved this issue was going on my TikTok with over a thousand followers to complain about this corporation… Unfortunately, they only care if you have reach! The reason I’m writing this review a year later is because one year later and the pool is already severely damaged! I reached out to Leslie’s who informed us there is nothing they can do and I need to take it up with the manufacturer… and I think you all know how that goes. Don’t waste your hard earned money here… we practically threw away over $12,000. I’m writing this review before I go public AGAIN on TikTok with my experience.

  Extremely unfriendly and rude employees who were more interested in finishing their own personal conversations than helping a customer. When I did finally ask them where the cyanauric acid was they seemed annoyed that I, a customer, would be asking them, store employees, where a product in their store was located. The guy who rang me up had an attitude, won’t be shopping here again.
