  Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed,  To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing.   I bought an LG washer and dryer from the Lowe’s outlet store in Medford Ma. For great prices and very little damage to the frames. So far I haven’t had any problems, but I bought a Kenmore French door Stainless steel fridge less than 3 years ago and I had a problem that I thought was just the fan but I had a repair man tell me it was the fan and some other electrical problem and that he can’t get the parts for that model because it was discontinued etc etc! The Lowe’s store in Medford closed down so I had to buy a new fridge! I should have gotten a second opinion because I think that fridge could be repaired and last another 5+ years but for what I paid for it the appliance repair guy said it wasn’t worth it???? I would still buy appliances from the outlet store if it was still open! I will not be using that repair shop again! I got the impression that he didn’t know much about that model and he didn’t want to try and fix it!

  I live about an hour away from this outlet. I called before making the drive and asked about washing machines. The guy on the phone was lazy. He insisted he could not give me any information. Nothing on pricing or availability and my only option was to take the drive and look. So I decide it's worth it to at least check maybe I'll get lucky. I drive and right there when you walk in are all the washing machines and dryers. Maybe a dozen of them. And absolutely none of them match what I was looking for. When a an employee walks over and asks what I'm looking for I ask if this is everything they have and he says yes but come back in a couple days because they're always getting new stock... Well I could've saved myself a couple hours if the guy on the phone simply looked up from the desk and relayed some simple information to me. What a waste of time this place is

  my 2 cents - don't trust the discount they are showing you on the appliance!!!! Do your own research. We bought a fridge that looked like it was 50% off and had a significant scratch but we really needed a fridge ASAP, when I went to look up the manual online I realized I could get the same fridge without the scratch for only $200 more??? Not sure its as much as a discount as they advertise and now I feel duped...

  They suck!!! Do not buy extended warranty . You don't talk to person and as I know personally, it did not work.ice maker stopped working they came to fix on a Friday, then the fridge stop working and became of Ai I couldn't get anyone!
