  I’ve shopped at Lowe’s stores in several states, and unfortunately the Shreveport location has been the most disappointing by far. Almost every time I visit, there are abandoned shopping carts sitting in the middle of the aisles with merchandise left in or on them. It gives the impression that employees aren’t taking the initiative to return products to their proper locations, making the store feel cluttered and difficult to shop. One decision that especially doesn’t make sense is having every grill assembled and displayed outside. Many customers, myself included, would prefer the option to purchase a brand-new grill that’s still sealed in the original box rather than one that’s been sitting outside exposed to the weather. There should be a balance between display models and new, boxed inventory. The customer service at the returns and exchanges desk has also been consistently poor. That position is one of the most customer-facing roles in the store, so a lack of friendliness or willingness to help leaves a lasting negative impression. Another ongoing issue is the wood-cutting station, which has been out of order for quite some time. It’s surprising that such an essential service has remained unavailable for so long. It makes me wonder whether there are budget or maintenance issues preventing equipment from being repaired or replaced, especially since other Lowe’s locations I’ve visited have functioning wood-cutting services. Overall, this store feels poorly managed. Basic housekeeping, customer service, equipment maintenance, and merchandising standards all seem to be lacking. I hope the general manager takes a closer look at these recurring issues and focuses on improving leadership, accountability, and the overall customer experience. Shoppers deserve a store that is organized, well-maintained, and staffed by employees who take pride in their work. Michael is best example of great customer service at this location. Others should follow his lead.

  1 Star for two reasons: First: Poor home renovation experience. Absolutely do not recommend using Lowes on Mansfield Road for home reno work. Pitched as a "turnkey" project that ended up being anything but. Multiple time and cost overruns on a kitchen remodel. Design team failed to account for fur downs leading to incorrect purchases of crown molding. Multiple items were either not ordered on time or simply "forgotten about" until required for installation with insufficient lead time to rush order. Barn sink in particular; failure to purchase as part of order led to subcontractor being unable to complete installation on scheduled date of install. Multiple other quality control problems due to failure to check plumbness of drywall (which resulted in misalignment of cabinets by more than 1½ inches vertically), shoddy and unclear installation including improperly drilling into cabinet faces while attemptin to install hardware, complete disappearance of the cabinet installer foreman and failure to be reachable for more than 30 days due to an unspecified illness with no further explanation given, led to my firing the subcontractor and a protracted back and forth engagement with the Lowes team, up to and including leadership from the regional office, with only limited success in recouping some funds. I was able to obtain reimbursement for unpurchased countertops and a small handful of items were replaced (cabinet face, toe kicks) at no cost, but the extremely poor experience left me with more than $2000 in out of pocket expenses which were accrued in corrective actions via hiring of a third party to fix the subcontractors install job. Second: The presence of 4 Flock Cameras pointed at the parking lot. I do not recommend shopping here if you do not want a private company building a surveillance footprint of you. There are more secure methods providing parking lot camera security than using Flock cameras. You still have those alternatives sitting in the parking lot in the form of those towered CCTV poles. Given the massive amount of negative press that Flock is receiving for the corporate surveillance monitoring, false-positives, inappropriate access/accessibility of surveillance data by both law enforcement and private citizens alike, Lowes should reevaluate its business association with such an obtuse and intrusive company as Flock.

  I understand that I came in there with a book bag. I understand that we're in Shreveport, Louisiana. Let me deal with the old white lady ma'am I don't steal I bought everything in that store. I didn't appreciate her looking inside my bag when I pulled out my wallet, and I didn't need her to take my debit card and try to make a purchase like I was her child/grandchild. I'm just going to deal with the one on Youree Dr.

  “In stock” quantities in lumber are ALWAYS wrong. Have been back every week for 2 months and they still haven’t re ordered items that show plenty in stock with an empty shelf in person. Refuse to correct available quantities so you just waste time coming every time. Lumber department management needs to figure it out.
