- MGMisty GatsonMay 4, 20261.0I purchased a washer and paid for hauling away. The people lied and said they installed and hauled away, they brought the new washer in, and didn’t connect it. Also, left the old one and I’ve been on the phone with 6 different people and nobody has helped with the problem. I wish I had purchased from Home Depot instead.

However, the nailer turned out to be defective, and when I tried to return it, I was told they couldn't offer me a refund or an exchange because—according to one woman—I hadn't purchased an insurance plan. A dark-skinned woman spoke to me harshly, stating that she couldn't exchange anything because I had already used the tool; yet, I had only used it once, and I had been given a 30-day window to exchange the nailer in the event that it malfunctioned. Despite this, they refused to give me a refund or exchange the roofing nailer. They are incredibly rude in the way they treat people.😡

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
