  Bruce Carter is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable sales professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We had tried on two separate occasions to purchase recliners from the Baton Rouge corporate La-Z-Boy store but were unsuccessful. Bruce, on the other hand, simply listened to what we were looking for, showed us several leather power recliners that fit our needs, and within about 30 minutes we had purchased two of them. That’s how a great sales experience should work! Unfortunately, this location doesn’t deliver to Baton Rouge, but we liked Bruce and the way he treated us so much that we decided we’d simply figure out how to get the chairs home ourselves once they arrive in 6–8 weeks. I absolutely recommend Bruce Carter and the La-Z-Boy store in Metairie. In my opinion, the Baton Rouge store could learn quite a bit from him. Bruce should probably be a Corporate Regional Manager for La-Z-Boy—he certainly understands how to listen to customers, explain the products, and make the buying experience enjoyable without any pressure. The chairs we ordered are incredibly comfortable, and we’re already counting down the days until they arrive. These two old, hard “Brand X” recliners we’ve been sitting in are about to get kicked to the curb! Thanks, Bruce, for a great experience! You've got our address!

  My wife and I went into La-Z-Boy Metairie in hopes of finding the perfect recliner for our living room and our newborn! Mrs. Cecilia knew exactly which one to show us and my wife fell in love! We were never pressured for anything, she was patient and kind. We came back a week later to purchase and she proceeded to help us again and everything went as smooth as possible. Thank you again!

  La-z-boy was a breath of fresh air. Don’t settle for finishes or materials you don’t love, run the gamut of choices and buy something that is exactly what you want.

  Cecelia was an excellent associate. She was able to fit my husband and I with recliners that could help with recent medical ailments, customizing types of recliners, as well as coordinating leather coverings to the loveseat that we also purchased. We feel like we won the lottery today. Thank you Cecelia!!!!
