My appliances were supposed to be delivered 2 days after purchase. When i checked the status the day it was supposed to be delivered it said i had to wait 5 more days, checked again throughout the week and it added an extra day 😭 I had to throw away $600 worth of groceries. The manager gave me a refund of $150. I purchased a fridge, washing machine and dryer. If they give you a delivery date just know that it might not be accurate. They should seriously let customers know that the delivery date can be changed. It was also horrible customer service besides the woman that is the manger/supervisor in appliances, she was really nice.

Would it kill anybody to have some common sense. Not only was one of my items wrong but it was delivered wrong twice. I even paid to have delivered next day so my job wouldn’t be delayed, but it was still wrong, I ended up going get my items myself, and scheduled a pickup of the other stuff. I paid the extra $69 for delivery just for the convenience of me not having to go get it, on top of that, I had to pay a second time,
It’s two different blocks, two different prices, common sense

VERY DISAPPOINTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AT LOWE’S

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lowe’s. I have never experienced such poor customer service over a return, especially after specifically asking an employee about the return policy before spending $424.
I purchased a portable AC for $424.01. Before making the purchase, I specifically asked the associate Amber about the return policy. I explained that I wanted to make sure I could return the AC if it did not work for my room because I do not like making unnecessary returns. Amber clearly told me that the return policy was 30 days.
I returned to the store only 4 days after my purchase, expecting a straightforward return. Instead, the store manager associate, Destine, refused to process my return and told me there was a 48-hour policy.
I explained that this was completely different from what I had been told before purchasing the AC. I asked Destine to speak with Amber and verify what she had told me. Amber confirmed that she had told me 30 days. Even after that confirmation, Destine still refused to process my return.
What was even more frustrating was Destine’s attitude throughout the situation. Rather than trying to find a reasonable solution or acknowledge that I had been given incorrect information by Lowe’s employee, I was repeatedly told about policies without any meaningful attempt to help.
I asked to speak with someone else and requested the corporate customer service number. I was refused again. I eventually found the corporate number myself and contacted Lowe’s. The corporate representative explained that the final decision was up to the store manager.
I then asked Amber to speak with the corporate representative and explain what she had told me when I purchased the AC. Unfortunately, she did not stand by the information she had previously given me.
This entire situation was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.
If an employee gives a customer incorrect information about a return policy, the customer should not be the one who suffers because of that mistake. I specifically asked about the return policy before purchasing a $424 item, and I followed up by attempting to return it just 4 days later.
I am not upset simply because a return was denied—I am upset because I asked the exact question before purchasing, was given a clear answer, and then was treated as if that conversation never happened.
⚠️ BUYERS BEWARE
If you are making a large purchase at Lowe’s, do not rely solely on what an employee tells you about the return policy. Verify the policy yourself and get the information in writing if possible.
I expected much better from Lowe’s. The way this situation was handled by Destine and Amber was extremely disappointing and has seriously damaged my trust in this store.
$424 purchase. 4-day return. Clear 30-day information given before purchase. Still refused.
Very disappointing experience. I hope Lowe’s management takes this seriously and uses this as an opportunity to properly train employees on both return policies and customer service.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase.
