  Hobby lobby is the ultimate white woman dream store. This is the only store on the planet where you can get a sign that says “dear diet it’s not me, it’s you. I can’t stop cheating on you” for your kitchen, and a “love is sweet so have a treat” sign as well. Seems contradicting. Throw in a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign in there and you’re in every stereotypical white woman’s house. But forget the sign section. The art section is really fun. You can read the husband’s secret messages they’ve left in the wooden letter aisle. Typically it’ll say things like “help me” or “she won’t leave”. You can just feel the regret they have when they take their wives here. Most probably never make it out. Most haunt the aisles. Nothing but echoes of the men they once were. Ah anyways, bless this mess.

  They had a little tent set up in the clearance section that said, “Ice Cream.” So…like any sane person I set up shop and started selling ice cream out of the tent. I had them Bomb Pops, Push Pops, Drum Sticks, and hand dipped cones in a cooler I brought. I was rocking and rollin in a child sized tent on an end cap until…Gary 😒 decided to mess it all up. He told me, “This is a store, not the your playground.” He tried to take down my tent, but I stood up and sprinted around with it atop my head like a Minion. My ice cream was with me on a cooler strapped to my shoulder. Up and down the isles I ran like a flash. I did stopped for a moment to look at some of the signs. “WE THE PEOPLE!” Gary caught up to me and I bailed from the tent. I threw a waffle cone at his face and blinded him with my cream. I felt bad, but who doesn’t like a face full of thick white cream? I made my way to the exit. All in all it was a good experience. I wish they gave me a better spot, but after 4 days in the store I was happy with my success in sales

  I'm originally from Pikeville KY and was visiting on Monday 04/06/2026 with family and decided to stop at this Hobby Lobby for a few things. I was waiting by the bathrooms for my sister to come out when I over heard a manager screaming at an employee.. I have been a store manager for 10+ years and I have never overheard another manager speak to an employee like that. I felt so bad for her employee and after speaking to other employees this is not unusual behavior and that she yells at them in front of customers and is never reachable when she is needed. I asked for her name for this post and was given the name Tarsha.
