  Very unhappy with our local Lowe's. Would not sell my wife and I an Axis 550 utv. We went the same day to the Winchester Ky Lowe's and came home with an Axis 550 utv. Amazing and wonderful staff at Winchester Ky Lowe's!

  On 6/21/26 I went to Lowes in Morehead KY with my wife and future son-n-law. My wife picked out the 242 piece Craftsman Mechanic Tool Set for Fathers day for me. I checked out in Self Checkout and on the way out the door alarm went off. I promptly stopped and presented my receipt showing proof of purchase. The customer service attendant looked in the cart and then looked at my wife and stated "the alarm doesn't go off for no reason." She then stated, "let me see in your purse." My wife became upset but didnt have anything to hide. Her purse was a little cross body and there was no room to put anything in it. My wife opened her purse despite my plea to not comply. The lady also stated, "they had caught someone with stolen items in their purse yesterday." We became upset and stated we are not theives and we've complied with the receipt. There were several customers in line and i couldnt believe we were being treated this poorly. I went and complained to Customer service and talked to the manager on duty. He stated it was not OK and against policy to search personal items. I then left and when thinking about it later I decided to return the product. I talked to the manager again and he stated the individual that did this denied asking to search my wife's purse and he had to take her side. I got a full refund but not one person apologized. I will be reaching out to corporate tomorrow and the store mgr and gm. Ive been a good customer for years and ill never be back to Lowes in Morehead or any other.

  Orders a washer and dryer set in store, was told I’d get a text confirmation when it would be available for pickup. Never came, check out the order history and it says picked up in store the day I purchased. A call to customer service later and I end up being refunded to them pay more for the same order again. Don’t know what happened but will probably never step foot in there again.

  This place is pretty much everything people hate about corporate box stores. I bought a refrigerator from them a few years ago and the freezer keeps having issues. I called appliances to see if there is a warranty or repair options, I got the front desk. The girl took my information and said someone would call me back. It's 24 hours later and no call as per my expectations. I also attempted to get a fence installed by a subcontractor through this store. It took months, I had several thousand in a down-payment being held and when they arrived they didn't have the correct fence material or even the entire material to start for a standard fence if that had been what I wanted. After another month of phone tag I finally asked for my money back. The contractor tried to dodge me so I ended up back at the store. Due to complete nonsense the store took another month to refund me and had to do it by cashier's check rather than refund my card. Bottom line, avoid all major purchases here. I do all of my hardware business at ACE now. It's 1/30th of the size, has far less options and somehow does a better job. Literally a bunch of old guys with a outdated hardware and lumber yard try harder by far than Lowe's. You're better off ordering materials and waiting a week for it to arrive than dealing elsewhere. Lowe's Literally told me they can't even cut treated wood a few years ago. Literally what is the point of the store? After realizing this store is basically a milking station I still am forced to try to contact them about things I know they can't handle such as returning a call or a simple inquiry about warranty information. If you ever bought something here, just wash your hands of it and move on with life. The entire concept of a customer/business relationship is an illusion from the past.

  I had to stop at Lowe’s to look for a new fridge, and Brandon was a lovely young man! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Shout out to Cameron in plumbing for helping me find my way around the store!
