  Very disappointing experience — lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability Unfortunately, my experience with Aptive Pest Control was extremely disappointing. The biggest issues were the lack of communication, professionalism, and, most importantly, ownership of the problem. Due to scheduling issues and a lack of communication surrounding an appointment on September 30, I ended up incurring $260 in additional costs because I had to miss work. What was even more frustrating was Aptive’s refusal to take ownership or responsibility for the situation, despite the circumstances being directly related to their scheduling and communication failures. I also attempted multiple times to contact Operations Manager Tim, leaving calls and messages, but he never returned my calls or responded to my messages. When a customer has a legitimate service issue and is trying to resolve it, I would expect a manager to at least acknowledge the concern and communicate with the customer. Mistakes can happen in any business, but what matters is how the company handles them. In this case, I felt that Aptive failed to demonstrate the professionalism, communication, and accountability I would expect from a company providing a paid service. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Aptive Pest Control.

  Service was great at first and continued to go downhill afterwards. Had to almost physically catch provider to get inside sprayed or he would leave without communicating and send a text wanting me to do a survey

  It just simply doesnt work. We had many months of treatment with them coming between treatments due to the issues and I swear they're spraying an attractant into our yard. Ive used 2 other companies in the past with amazing results and I was so stoked to find Aptive, but we haven't been able to enjoy our yard at all. And I mean at all. I can go outside and immediately have a dozen mosquitoes on my. One of my kids got cellulitis from a mosquito bite from our yard. The customer service is absolutely abhorrent, as well. They want to argue with you and not listen to anything you say not to mention it said my hold time was approx 2 mins and as of now I've been holding for 38 minutes and this is the 5th time ive had to call to resolve the one issue!! Stay away from these people. Theyre a nightmare and the service simply does nothing. I spray my own yard with cedarcide off Amazon and it works amazing. I was just hoping to have something off my to do list.

  So far, they are not doing a very good job. I have had them now for about three months. They’ve sprayed fully once. I’ve called them six times to come out and spray. They have made other appointments, but never came out, never called and then came out one other time, but could not come in the house to spray, because he didn’t have booties without large holes in them. He said he was going to come back the next day, BUT never did and no call either. All lies, so now I have another appointment for them to come out on Tuesday. We’ll see if they make it. I’m about to call them and tell them they are the ones breaking their own contract by not fulfilling their promises. I would not have any of my families or friends hire this company. They are terrible, they don’t do what they’re supposed to do, they don’t call you and let you know when they’re coming, but they sure do take their money. Not happy.

  We originally booked for a 5-7 pm slot and their team arrived much earlier when no one was available for the interior treatment. The “solution” was for the exterior to proceed and then interior be scheduled for another day. However upon returning home we realized no work was done on the exterior because we have gates so there was no possible way for the exterior to be completed but we were still charged for the service.
