They are unprofessional and all over the place with everything they say. The workers that come are great. The billing, and the people who do the contracts. The costumer service people are just awful.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I feel the need to share this with the general public. This weekend a man came to our door soliciting us to get their pest control. He identified himself as Jake/Jacob from Aptive. We have a no soliciting sign by our door as, being a newer neighborhood, the amount of pest control soliciting has been outrageous. My husband pointed the sign out to Jake, who stated he didn’t notice it, then still tried to push his agenda of selling us pest control. My husband told him multiple times we were uninterested (especially since we had Aptive before and had a horrible experience towards the end), and that we were happy with our current company. Jake continued to push until my husband told him to leave. Two days later, he returned to our home to try again, even after my husband had previously told him we weren’t interested and did not appreciate him bypassing our no soliciting sign. My husband approached him before he made it to our door and again told him we weren’t interested and that we had asked him to not return. He became very rude and verbally aggressive with my husband, to which my husband told him he needed to leave ASAP. We told him we would call the police if he continues harassing us.
We have a neighborhood social media page and there have been multiple complaints from many of my neighbors regarding Jake’s aggressive behavior and rudeness, especially since they went through the same thing a few days ago and also have no soliciting signs.
If you cannot accept my initial respectful “no thank you”, then you obviously do not respect me. So why would I want to sign up with your company? Talk about a MAJOR turn off. This is horrible, predatory practice, especially for those who may not be able to stand up for themselves. DISGUSTING.

I had signed up through a gentleman who knocked on my door. He claimed that someone would come out every week to spray after someone in our neighborhood moved out and we found out their place was overly infested with roaches. The first person who came in tried spraying only 1/2 of my home, the second person who came only sprayed the outside. The next appointment was a no show. The office credited my account $60 and rescheduled for the following Monday. Again a no show for an “early morning appointment”. I do not recommend this company. As per your reply Alexis, what needs to happen is that you remove me from your company. I will be seeking services elsewhere. Given that your people don’t show up as scheduled or give a specific time when rescheduling I find that unprofessional. Initially I hadn’t even planned to sign up however your salesperson was very consistent and didn’t really leave me even time to consider or check prices elsewhere. No need for further discussion, I just ask you to remove my name from any further communication and billing. You have already gotten enough free money for nothing from me. Thanks

We have used Aptive for over 2 years. Never had an issue until today. 10am the tech comes to treat. No problem. Treats and leaves like normal. Fast forward to 9pm when I got home and saw my water hose has been left on by the tech and my yard is an absolute mud pit, as my hose spray out constantly. Texted the tech to let them know and make this right, as 11 hours of water running creates a HUGE problem. Tech read the text, heart reacted and nothing. HEART REACTED LEAVING MY WATER ON. Active refuses to return our calls, or take any responsibility for their actions. Absolutely do not use this company.

I almost never write reviews, but when Miles decides to tell me how long I've lived in my house and how long I've had treatments before he hangs up on me, I feel it is appropriate to comment. Yes, I was trying to cancel the service and, yes, I told him that I didn't really want to have a long talk about the things he could do now. He told me I didn't understand the process and I had been texting and so forth. Sad, and I will not ever use the service again.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
