They play pricing games. You know, when I go to shop for myself at Aldi, I can save anywhere from a nickel of 50 cents. Here, when I go to shop for myself, it's a 20% up charge. Good thing Home Depot is close to most Lowe's. Granted, not this one, but at least they match their own price, unlike their sister's store Walmart.
We already knew that they were trying to block price scrapers. Because in order to view the price online, I had to either use their app or add it to my shopping cart.

I was really impressed with the Saturday morning kids event at the Roland Park Lowe’s. We’ve done similar events at the other big home improvement store before, and they were always unorganized and chaotic, but this one was the complete opposite. Everything was extremely well run, and the staff, especially Mary, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Even my 7 year old daughter, without any prompting, mentioned how much nicer this experience was compared to the others we’ve attended.
We’ll definitely be coming back. Really appreciate the effort your team puts in, it shows.

I got great advice and service from Lowe's in Roeland Park. I did not know exactly what I wanted, but I described it as best as I could: something to help a moveable desk stop knocking into the wall.
Like what you would put on something when you want your toddler not to get hurt on low, sharp furniture edges.
The employee who helped me suggested a variety of things, and then he said, "What about foam insulation... it's adhesive."
He walked me briskly to the aisle where he showed me the perfect solution!
I wish I remembered his name, but I always get great help at Lowe's and this is one example!!

Exceptional Service in the Garden Center - Mike S. is a Gem!
I recently visited the Lowe's in Roeland Park for some spring lawn and garden supplies, and I had one of the most outstanding retail experiences imaginable, all thanks to an incredible employee named Mike S. in the Garden Center.
From the moment I entered, Mike was incredibly attentive, genuinely helpful, and exuded such a positive and kind demeanor. How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
