- LYLEE YUMay 12, 20264.0Most staff at this Lowe’s are very nice, but I had a rocky experience with a recent pickup. I ordered a wood board that didn't fit in my car. The initial pickup staff member incorrectly told me they couldn’t cut it, until another colleague corrected him. I then waited in lumber area for pickup. The same pickup staff telling me no one would be available to help. I said I can wait for 30 min to 1hr. He told me he can't guarantee. After he left, I have to check with a lumber associate myself and he helped me right away, which took about 5 minutes. I appreciate the staff who eventually solved the problem. But the initial lack of knowledge and negative attitude made it much harder than it needed to be.

They sent me an open box item with broken parts, and would not refund delivery fee, after contacting corporate they did refund the fee, but made it clear that is not normal policy and this would be a one time exception. Even if it was their mistake.

- BSBill SubletteMay 1, 20261.0I have spent thousands of dollars annually for years at this store in Olathe. And every time I talk to someone there it is a very unpleasant conversation/ attitude. I have given them the benefit of the doubt in every case. Maybe their just busy or something. However after being on the other side watching them take calls I can see it is just the culture there. They are 50 miles from where I live so I often call ahead to make sure the item is in stock before I go to get it and I am constantly annoyed by there heavy sighs and bad attitude when I call. I do not enjoy paying for this lack of customer service! Sometimes you have no choice I go elsewhere when I do though.

I was left unable to use the balance for several days. I’ve since seen others report the same problem. Use caution with gift cards. Please turn this issue into BBB if it happens to you.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
