  This place does an amazing job my house has never been cleaner. Gavin and Rocky were so knowledgeable and they made sure I was taken care of. And the owners are very sweet. Anyone who doesnt give this place five stars is crazy because they definetly have my support and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

  Awesome service from start to finish. Shawn was very easy to work with. He did the original inspection, explained everything he found and described the process and timeline for completion. Scheduling was quick and easy. Shawn did a great job and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend Vortex.

  Our experience with Vortex was great. Techs were friendly, professional and thorough with our home and dryer vent cleaning. I paid what I was quoted on the phone.They left everything clean and I’m very happy with how easy it was to get this done. You know how some businesses make doing business with them very hard and painful? This is definitely is not one of those businesses. I would highly recommend them.

  I would not recommend this company to anyone. My experience was beyond frustrating, and the lack of professionalism was unbelievable. From the owner to the office staff, I dealt with poor communication, cursing, disrespectful comments, and excuses instead of anyone actually taking responsibility. The owner told me one thing, and what actually happened was completely different. I felt completely misled. The office staff I spoke with on the phone was rude, unprofessional, and made an already frustrating situation even worse. The workmanship was just as disappointing. I felt corners were cut and that nobody genuinely cared about the quality of the work, my home, or how I was treated as a customer. I ended up having to deal with the consequences and consider having another company go back over the work. If you value your money, your home, and your sanity, take my advice and go somewhere else. I wouldn't put myself through this experience again, and I don't think anyone else should have to either.

  As my husband and I are Marine Corps veterans we were highly disappointed with the unprofessionalism, lack of communication, unethical and overpriced treatment from this company. We had a leak in our basement from a faulty pipe behind our wall. Within the sales pitch it was implied that, for what they were charging us, that included the plumber they were going to call to fix our leak. NOPE. They charged us $1800. For what, you ask if they did not fix the leak? To open up a 7'x2' drywall to find the leak (what a plumber could've done), dry our carpeting (shop vac the carpet and padding and sprinkle antimicrobial stuff to stop molding and get rid of the smell - everything we could've done ourself) and call a plumber. It was our fault in believing that when they said "...then we'll call the plumber to get them to fix the leak" that, the plumber was actually included in the price. Once again, a phone call we could've made by ourselves. So Shawn comes out. He does about an hour of work. He calls JCM plumbing and thats when i find out the plumber is separate pricing. (JCM is amazing, they did 3 or 4 hours of work, needed to use their excavator and shovels to find the start of the leak, fixed it while being courteous and professional. They only charged me $1500) So once again, what did I pay $1800 for? When its time to pay, Shawn says that I can pay with card but its extra money and can i pay with check (which i didn't have) or cash. He then requests i go to the bank. I go to the bank and when I return, he is in my house, ALONE sitting in my hallway, back my laundry room "soaking up the AC" because the AC went out in his truck. He could've sat in my garage or under a tree or something but in my house, by himself is unprofessional and creeped me out and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I then handed him his money and he promptly put it back down on my counter and said, " Let me show you what I did downstairs" and showed me 2 fans and a dehumidifier telling me, if it were him he'd at least get the carpet cleaned but really we should replace the carpet. (Once again why were you hired and why did I pay $1800) I go back upstairs and hand him his money back and he doesn't leave. He's standing in my kitchen, just talking about how hot it is and how his next job is a "sewer job" that he doesn't really want to go to because its the sewer. Then he says "Well I'm going to charge them a minimum of $2300 because its the sewer" Then i thought, is that how we were charged? A feeling?? A mood? A matter of like or dislike? He finally leaves. A few days later Matt the owner comes out to rip out some of the carpet padding which was originally supposed to be done by Shawn but miscommuncation between Matt and his wife Natalie or something so it didn't get done so Matt came out to rectify it. He then asks my husband how much JCM plumbing charged us (also unprofessional but since you're asking) my husband says $1500 and Matt looked sheepish according to my husband and Matt replies with "Well their last job they charged $3600" And I immediately knew that was a lie and made sure to let JCM plumbing know what Matt said about them. And finally, Matt left but kept a fan and dehumidfier on stating our concrete was still wet. But then it took them almost another week to pick up their equipment after we had to request they pick it up. I will say Drywall replacement was included after they opened it up to find the leak (what JCM plumbing could've done) and their drywall guy was very nice and professional. And btw we will not recoup these funds from homeowners insurance. They dont cover plumbing wear and tear and we actually didn't pay "enough" for homeowners insurance to over. Do not call me, do not email me. What can you do moving forward? Well it would be nice to be charged fairly and be returned the difference via check in the mail. But the very least, get your husband and employee in order.
