  We have been going here to get our water tested by April for five years. She is always friendly and completely knowledgeable about my water and what to add. I’ve had clear water every time! Keep up the great work! It makes owning a pool very easy!

  I have been a loyal customer of this pool company for approximately 20 years. Their technicians have come to my home weekly to clean and maintain my pool, and until now, I have generally been satisfied with their service. Recently, I was informed that my pool pump motor had failed and needed to be replaced. The company promptly sent me a quote for a new motor. However, I’m preparing to begin a major home renovation that includes installing an entirely new pool in the next month or so. Because of that, I called and explained my situation, asking if they happened to have a used motor or another temporary solution that could get me through the next four to six weeks. The response I received was incredibly disappointing. The person I spoke with immediately told me there was nothing they could do. They showed no interest in trying to help, didn’t offer to speak with a manager, didn’t say they would look into possible options, and made no effort whatsoever to find a solution. The conversation ended almost as quickly as it began. After being a customer for two decades, I expected at least an attempt to help. Even if the answer ultimately had to be “no,” taking a few minutes to explore options or showing some concern for a long-time customer would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that phone call cost the company much more than the sale of a pool pump motor. It also cost them the opportunity to build my new pool. Based on how I was treated, I asked my contractor to use a different pool company. It’s disappointing that customer loyalty and service seem to matter so much less than they once did.

  The South Bend Bontrager location is so lucky to have April. She is always kind, patient and her pool knowledge is out of this world! I highly recommend that you visit her to get your pool chemicals and help with knowing what to add.
