It was terrible. Skylar was supposed to come spray inside and came inside to look at the aunts getting inside and called my house dirty and then left I have it on camera it was embarrassing and I'm firing this company. They never came back to spray either they were here for 6 minutes

I think all the 5 star reviews have to be bogus. there are lots of bad reviews on reddit and social media.
my partner fell for their door to door crap. luckily we didn’t have difficulty canceling like lots of reports. but of course had to pay a $200 cancellation fee.
they might provide good service but i don’t like predatory sales practices and i really don’t like fake, paid for online reviews.

I had originally set up a service back in June, when the technician came out he had to confirm a few details. Not sure how or why but my debit card was attached to a different account with different contact information and address. when I called up to try and get the issue resolved, they were unable to help me and stated the other account holder had to call in and get the card removed. I explained and gave details about my card info and charge history, and they confirmed it but stated they are unable to pause or remove the card for the unknown account unless the phone number associated with that account called up and requested it be removed. So now from what I was told, I will continue to be charged every month unless that person calls up and gets it removed.

The reason i would give one star:
The problem with wasps was not resolved.
We started in may/ april and they came in several times. Wasps nest was still there.
My husband actually went on side of roof, evacuated the nestand sprayed with chemicals from homedepot.
2. When I called the cust.service they spoke to me very nicely trying to convince to stay and lower the charges, giving a discount.
I asked to have that discount applied to my outstanding balance instead, why not if I am one “unhappy customer”. They said no. Tone of voice has changed, representative rushed the conversation, said you have to pay what you have owned even though the problem was not resolved. He said “we email you the bill have a nice day” - without letting me respond “lets check the email you have on file, where you are sending this all?!
3. So what makeso one company stand out is how they treat “ issues” . Aptive treats you nice unti you pay and happy but if you voice the issue they would convince you to stay offering lower the price- but service and vision is the same right- problem was not resolved for several times untill we as customers took cake of it!They dont take credits for that.
So never comming back to them
And sharing this with my neighbors!

What a scam! A sales representative for this pest control service was going door to door here in Portage, Indiana. We were signed up for a 2 year service at $79 month. The service was not working out for us, so we cancelled. My wife was then threatened with a $199 early termination fee. We have since learned they were selling door to door without a permit from the City, and I have tried to amicably part ways with this company. Nope! They are going to strong-arm us to finish 12 of the 24 months or face the termination fee. After numerous call center conversations attempting to find someone connected to the local Merrillville Address listed, it proved impossible.
I would rather deal with vermin and insects than predatory companies such as Aptive! Shameful 3rd party shell games of hiding behind a call center with little to no accountability. You will get my last $138.00 payments but let’s be clear. This is not customer service, it is Exploitation. Where does the money Go? Why can’t you provide me with a customer service person locally to speak with? Who should be held accountable for these strong-arm tactics? How many other towns and cities have you canvassed without obtaining permits? Do you target honest working people and senior citizens?

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
