The Jackson Street Community Garden is committed to growing food communally and to giving back to our neighbors. The garden features 50 garden plots for families and individuals, a summer kids garden club, and a free u-pick area to benefit the local community. There is also a Share Table for those that wish to donate their own garden produce. The garden is located at the corner of Jackson Street and Jefferson Avenue in downtown LaPorte.
The Jackson Street Community Garden is managed and underwritten by the Pax Center, State Street Community Church, and other individual and corporate partners.
