  I received assistance from Dave at Terpstra’s in regards to purchasing a chainsaw. Dave was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining to me the in’s and out’s of the chainsaws, also the do’s and dont’s. Excellent service thanks Dave.

  I came in looking for more information on the best chainsaw for the money. I asked a lot of questions which were all answered professionally and honestly. I was also given information I didn’t know enough to ask for. Tom even helped us with some other parts we needed grabbing them from the shelf himself. I was filthy and sweaty from working in the Yard and I was treated like I was wearing a three piece suit. I feel I received an excellent deal and great service. When I got home, I had trouble le starting the new unit. I was sure it was flooded but couldn’t get it going. I live five minutes away so I brought it back for help rather than sit and look at I while I waited for it to dry out. The Service Department man at the counter stopped eating his lunch and took it in the back to start it. It started right up and he explained again how to start it. I tried starting in the parking lot and it didn’t work. I was livid (at myself). I couldn’t believe I couldn't start a brand new chainsaw. When I can back in, it was obvious I was angry though I hope they knew I was angry at myself. I say that here and offer an apology, because anger displayed is always thrown at the recipients. A gentlemen came up to me, took me to the back, started the machine. He then talked me through starting it. He had the perfect opportunity to poke fun at my obvious mistake (I was leaving the choke on until I heard it rumble. He said only pull it twice whether you hear the rumble or not.), he never said a word about my mistake or my demeanor. I believe this was Brian, though I am not positive. We worked all afternoon and evening cutting up a downed tree and it worked like a champ! I truly appreciate the deal, the service, the respect, and all treating me the best when I wasn’t at my best.

  Don't waste your time, head straight to the best! Fair pricing and great customer service. Tom is very knowledgeable, Dan makes sure his customers are getting the best experience. With the recent storms Terpstra made sure to keep necessities in stock. I have made several purchases here over the years and am never disappointed.

  I've had nothing but good experiences with Terpstra. I bought my snowblower from there and when it came time for it to need something fixed they picked it up for me at my house and then brought it back to me when it was done. I was very thankful and grateful. Now I have gotten a lawn mower from them and prayerfully it turns out to be just as good a situation. They were very thorough with showing me how to operate it and let me know what I needed to do to winterize it. Thanks guys! 😊

  When a major storm tears through our community, you quickly discover who is willing to step up and help. Terpstra Sales & Service didn’t hesitate—they opened their doors and went above and beyond to make sure people had access to the equipment they desperately needed.
