I needed some fence but only 49 feet. They charge a minimum of 100 feet. But lowes worker didn't mention that. I had to figure it out. Kept calling me cheap because I didn't want to pay for a 100 feet when I'm only getting 49 feet. Every time I have dealt with your outside contractors. They lie or treat me like crap. So I beg you to bring back to inhouse contractors. These outside companies are using your trusted name to scam your customers and then they walk away and then your stuck with the reputation they made. Do you see. I'm trying to help you. Please take this to heart. I truly love your store and want to give you all the business but these incidents could ruin you

I had a great experience purchasing my fence.

Mistakes were made. My wife and I used a plywood/drywall cart as we saw there was a sale on one of the tote shelving systems. We had been eyeing them for some time and decided to purchase 2 sets of them. We also needed rolls of straw as we are trying to get grass seed down. We had a handful of smaller items, mostly electrical so not cheap. Mistake #1. After checking out in the lawn and garden department we placed the bag of electrical items back in the basket on the bottom of the cart. These baskets are almost completely solid and we forgot our items in the basket when loading everything in to our vehicle. We realized this mistake when we made it home. I thought I would call the store to see if anyone has turned the bag in. Mistake #2, always get the name of the associate you talk to!! The lady I spoke with was very nice. She said she would check with all the departments to see if the bag has been turned in, asked for my name and number. After a short period she called me back and said the items had not been returned but they would be happy to replace the items for me. I was not expecting this at all but was a pleasant surprise. She said anytime would be fine and I told her I would be by the following morning. I did not get her name as the conversation turned out better than expected... When I showed up the next morning, happy to replace the items was not the case. When I explained the situation and the call I had the previous day, Tiara (I got a name this time), wasn't buying my story and since I did not get the name of the associate I spoke to the day before they couldn't vouch for my story. They did however watch the video of us making the purchase and taking the bag out of the store, which we did, just didn't take it home with us. She forwarded my information and story to her manager and would have their asset protection team review it. I did receive a call back a day later stating that since the bag left the store their was nothing they could do. Understandable. My only argument was that if one of their employees have a different response, is it standard practice to not follow through with that agreement. I never expected them to replace the items but after it was offered I was more than disappointed to not get them. Just food for thought. I'll probably stick to the Columbus Lowe's for a while.
